It is important for individuals especially children to properly know how to defend and protect themselves with the benefit of gaining amazing skills in a sport that teaches discipline, technicque and physical fitness. My three children have been training for only five months now, and my daughter (7), has steadily gained the confidence and technique to start competing, and I've never seen her more confident and compassionate about an activity like this. Glenn is an amazing Teacher, works great with children and is very encouraging. Longshot is a clean and welcoming atmosphere that has a variety of mma classes for those who are starting from ground zero and a wide range of age groups. The first class is offered free of charge and they are always open to answer any questions.

LongShot Martial Arts is a huge blessing to the people of our community. I am most familiar with the classes for children. They are life giving!!! So, what does Glenn teach?? Martial arts, right? Of course he is very skillful at that! But what he teaches THROUGH martial arts is of great value as well.How about:devotion and commitment? After a full day at work, he arrives at Long Shot, greeting people and teaching for hours.How about doing one's best? His teaching is high quality regardless of whether there are two students or twenty.How about:-self control, respect for authority, respect for training partners?Yeah. Kids are watching, and learning all this from Glenn. Now that Obsidian is on the scene, students even get to see how a father cares for a child.A lot of learning goes on at LongShot!!!

Glenn is an absolutely amazing teacher! He is excellent with kids. My son has been attending lessons for almost a year and has learned so much! I would highly recommend LongShot MMA for kids and adults!

Sensei/Coach Glen is absolutely amazing!Judo coaches are pretty thin on the ground north of Sacramento, but Coach is a really high level Judoka and coach. He has lots of experience and expertise in making Judo and Jujitsu work in the real world. His knowledge of no-gi Judo is first rate and he has some amazing content online in addition to personally helping prepare students for grappling contests and MMA.He is a great communicator and is blessed with an uncanny ability to take complex topics and explain them very clearly.

Long shot is a great gym and Glenn is an awesome instructor who will definitely make anyone better from the young up and coming fighters to the old out of shape people like myself it’s a good environment and I recommend.

Coach Glenn is awesome and teaches real and practical martial arts. I trained a different style before coming here and he has helped me take my training to the next level. Bad reviews are probably from people who are bad at martial arts/training.

This business is a very amazing gym. The owner Glenn Lego is a 3rd degree black belt in jiu jitsu and a brown belt in judo. The classes he teaches help kids with behavior and confidence. There kids class is always amazing and I can see them improving every day. If you are in the area this is a great place to learn self defense. They offer kickboxing, judo , jiu jitsu , and woman's self defense classes.

I recently had my first class at Long Shot and I was so impressed. First of all, MMA and Jiu Jitsu are an amazing work out. It's a full body workout without the drone of the gym. Second, I learned things on the FIRST day that I could use in a self defense situation. The instructor is fun, knowledgeable and professional. He is someone I look forward to learning from. I'm definitely hooked! As a woman, you can never be too prepared or empowered. These classes give you both! I had such a great endorphin high afterward. Ill be a regular from here on out for SURE! The prices are beyond reasonable and you don't need to buy a bunch of stuff to get going. Bottom line: fitness, fun, self defense and something totally different from what you have been doing thus far. I can't recommend it highly enough!
