This afternoon I walked into the bank to cash in a check because I do not have a bank account im young and my parents usually handle my banking. They told me to go down to Citibank and they would help me cash them in or open an account. Absolutely not!! They said we can’t help you and turned me away. The manager working was extremely rude and I explained to her my parents bank there and maybe I could’ve opened a new account but that was not even suggested to me. Coming from the manager I did not expect them to be this rude. It’s a shame my parents nor I will be banking with you guys.

Jason Ponoroff. I had to open and close my account due to him ordering checks without my consent. I am really mad I can't get a hold of the regional manager but I was able to find it thanks to my old co worker. I had to lose a day of work just to close my accounts and open a new account somewhere else. Do not trust your money in this branch there is fraud going on and i am sure you have a high chance of being a victim of fraud in this branch . You have been warned

I was here sitting the bank opening up account Jason Ponoroff. Due to corona virus we had to go in the bank time i appreciate bank taking the customer one at a time. Jason made several mistake with my address and names despite me showing him my driver's license. He reassured me that it will be corrected a month later I received 2 statements (eventhough I only opened one account). Both had misspelled names and or address . I would think someone who works at the bank will be more tedious and courteous with the customers. The following week I have to call (placed on hold 30 minutes)the bank to ensure that corrections will be made

Complete fraudsters. Don't open an account with CitiBank - any branch - and if you do have an account close it immediately. I checked with a banker in person that I was interpretating the terms of the account I was opening correctly, she confirmed I was, and a couple months later CitiBank corporate says the terms are actually different and on top of that every aspect of CitiBank is insanely hard to contact. Don't fall for their fraud and false advertising and then get ghosted by your bank. Get your money out of their hands before they go bankrupt or shut down by the SEC.

Not the Citibank that I will go to. Was there yesterday for certain thing that I need the banker'a help. I didn't know we need appointment to see the banker after waiting in line with hot weather. At least the Banker had some respect to us as his customer to come out and explained to us what was going on. He asked the teller to refuse me without any appointment. Went to the one in Woodland Hills on Topanga and the manager explained in detail how he could help me. I understand with the whole situation right now everything is slower and everything set up differently, but people still need to have respect and common sense.

Man named Chris was super helpful. He answered all my annoying questions and made me feel as I was not annoying him. Lol. Thanks Chris.

Waited in line for well over 15 minutes while 1 banker tried to feed a paper check into a deposit machine, while other bankers were either on a personal call or simply just sat at their desk. In the meantime, after 15 minutes or so the line grew to 7. One banker hangs up her phone and tells me that she's going to the back to get someone to help me (I was next in line) OMGosh!!! Are you kidding me!??? This is the second time at this particular location. More than a handful of bankers - at a very slow paced location. Horrible - Horrible service!

I love Citibank!! We have been with other banks in the past and Citibank has exceeded all of our expectations! The level of customer service in the Calabasas Branch is absolutely off the charts amazing! Chris, Reem and Farida are super knowledgeable, will go to any lengths to provide you with the best possible customer service and they are the bright spot of my day!

Stay away from this branch. Citibank cleared a stake dated check out of my account months ago and will not put the money back that they took. I brought it up to the manager who is asleep at the wheel. If you want your money cared for go to Chase bank across the street. I was with Citibank for about 25 years and have pulled virtually all my business away from them. Manager was supposed to take care of this months ago. Let's see how they respond to this. Pull your money out and go to Chase across the street. Tell Mario there that Gary sent you. Cannot believe $500 is that big of a deal to them when I had 1,000 times that in banking volume every month with our businesses.

Promised bonus for opening account, never paid. Decided to finally close account after waiting 6 months and charged $95 for closing. Bank should be investigated for fraud. Promised loan if made certain deposits, never happened. Stay far away from Jason he will tell you anything to get your money. Extremely dishonest bank.

I signed up for a checking and savings account because of a promotion going on where I was supposed to receive a bonus after depositing a certain amount. Setting up the account was simple but I did not receive the bonus after meeting all conditions. I should have received it two months ago and so this is the fault of the employee I signed up with at this specific branch. I do not recommend setting up an account with this branch due to their incompetence. I now have to wait possibly an additional 90 days to sort this out through a claim, they will not disburse me even after agreeing that I have met all conditions. I spoke to the manager about the situation and she says she will try to expedite the claim. Regardless, this entire situation is a huge hassle because they did not do their job correctly and I had to spend all this extra time and energy going through customer service to get what I signed up for. Don't waste your time and energy, don't fall for the Citibank promotions its simply not worth it.

I've been here numerous times and have always been greeted by a friendly teller. The service is always fast and I've never experienced a problem. This bank is located in The Commons so there is plenty of parking and places to eat and shop if you're out and about.

Max Byfuglin is an unethical and dishonest loan officer here and please take this consumer warning seriously: do not engage this guy professionally, do not engage him monetarily. He ripped me off and can do the same to you, and Citibank is refusing to do anything to rectify the situation. I came to refinance a property and Max Byfuglin told me that he could get me $150k at 3.75% based on the documentation I provided him with. I paid his application and an appraisal fee, which came out to $523, and we started the process. About a month later, I received a second loan estimate in the mail, telling me that I could expect just $85k at an interest rate of 4.35%, which I can't do anything with. To be short, I told Max Byfuglin that this is unacceptable, and requested the refinance be cancelled and the appraisal and application fees be refunded. He replied saying that he previously told me that the upfront fees were non-refundable, which looking through the emails we exchanged, is untrue - he never warned me about this. I may have given him the benefit of the doubt if he really could not have foreseen this but the fact remains that loans are what Max Byfuglin does on a day-in, day-out basis, and his dishonesty in this matter caused me financial harm. Futhermore, he never warned me that the refinance could fail, or that the chances of failure would be so high, which a letter from an internal responder at Citi finally disclosed that the maximum debt to income ratio they could accept was 49%, while my ratio was 49.99%. He knew this and went ahead anyway with trying to get me a loan that was bound to fail. On the other hand, consider that Citibank generated over $3.3 billion in net revenue in Q4 2015 yet refused to make amends to a customer who lost $523 due to their mistake. This is absolutely outrageous, and is in no way my fault, but Citibank could care less about customer well being. NEVER pay for fees upfront on a loan. Demand that the loan officers first complete the underwriting and give you, in writing, a guarantee that their loan estimates will remain truthful to the amount they will deliver. If they refuse to do this, find another lender as there are thousands of them out there who won't charge you exorbitant, dishonest fees to do business with them like Citi does. Buyer beware.
