This place reminds me of Whole Foods. A ton of healthy options. A lot of food options to eat there. They had a poke section to build your own bowl, they had a soup section, salad section, sushi section, pizza section and even a bar.

8 days ago my wife and I went to the pizza and ready foods section. The pizza operators were rude and not clean. We have been sick of Gelson food or workers since then. I will not go back to that place.

I was very surprised how the such a good store has such a bad cookers . I bought Gelson’s calmar salad - awful, a lot of sauce which was over salted. Pasta - so spicy, but it was not noticed, and Creamy cheddar broccoli soup …. Absolutely not creamy , taste as water with some cream and broccoli….
And main thing I can say it is so no tasty , even I was very hungry. It does not help me to enjoy even bad cooked food.
I really dissatisfied of quality Gelson’s made food .
Please take your attention to it :)

My sister and I are loyal gelsons costumers and we love to get sweet treats from here. We bought this 12$ loaf of bread, titled cinnamon loaf. It was the most disgusting bread I have ever tasted in my life. It was FULL of SALT. I tried to just take the top part off, but the buckets of salt still continue to swarm my tastebuds. My sister and I now have matching headaches. It does not taste like cinnamon. It tastes like pure salt.

My go to for more than 20 years. Unfortunately they no longer carry some of my favorite items. Additionally I used to get food from the hot bar. Always tried to get there before the school kids crowded the store. The store used to have food out around 11am or before. Now they bring it out between 1130 and 12. Bristol Farms is now my go to. Better quality meats, fish and produce IMO. Also they have most of the items that Gelson's no longer carries. Perhaps it will improve. I still go there occasionally.

The service at the Wine Bar at Gelson's Calabasas is amazing. Tanya makes coming in on Friday something that I truly look forward to. She is friendly, she checks out anything that I need to buy, and she creates the kind of atmosphere that our neighborhood craves. You will not be disappointed when you go in there.

What happened to the quality of Gelson's food in Calababas? Spicy Tuna Roll, Wolfgang Puck Pizza, Chicken Tenders, Mac n Cheese and Tri tip, was all awful yesterday on a Saturday afternoon. There is an excitement I have when going to one of my favorite stores and was so incredibly disappointing.... What happened!! Been going there for 45 years!!! Spent way to much money to be this disappointed.
