This place is a learning institution. This animal clinic not only treats animals but also teaches future veterinarians. The staff is knowledgeable and professional in the extreme. I highly recommend this clinic to all who seek treatment for their pets

My dog had a really bad allergic reaction to the rabies vaccine that he had gotten a couple hours prior at our regular Vet that wasn't super close-by. I needed to get him to a nearby vet asap and brought him here. They right away took such good care of him, were so calm and kind to him. Dr. Watrobski was so sweet and I am incredibly grateful for her and her team. I walked in there a nervous wreck panicking and I walked out so relieved and will definitely be taking my Georg here again.

We first visited to rehab our dog from a recent injury and have now made the clinic our full time vet! They have all traditional general vet services, but also water treadmills, acupuncture, and chiropractic services for more holistic care. Outside of their services, the staff is so wonderful! Dr Watrobski and Nancy are genuine dog lovers and it shows in their care for your pet.

Without a doubt, the most unprofessional front desk staff I have ever come across. I'm a new, prospective client, and when I called to make an appointment for my puppy's first vaccines, they suggested I go with a mobile vaccine clinic. I asked if they had any suggestions in the area but was told to google it. When I said I was hoping for suggestions based on the fact that they seemed to be a trusted vet in the area, I was hung up on. I called back repeatedly, but they intentionally let it go to voicemail (sadly, a very obvious and unprofessional approach). I then waited an hour, called back and spoke with someone new. I inquired about who I was speaking with the hour before but was 1) interrupted each time I spoke, 2) asked why it mattered, 3) scoffed at for asking the question, and 4) told there would be absolutely no way to verify who was covering the phones the previous hour because there was a total of "5 technicians" who worked in the office. When I asked for them to find out so I could express that I didn't appreciate being hung up on, I was put on a very long hold. The main front desk person returned to the phone and said that she had no idea who I spoke with and wouldn't be able to verify. When I then asked for HER name over the phone, I was hung up on again. I called back, but of course - they let the call go to voicemail. I'm thoroughly disappointed not just because I was hung up on so many times, but for how I was spoken to by the main front desk rep during my second call. Extremely patronizing and combative tone. Hopefully their office keeps a recording of each call so the dr. can review and hold their front desk staff accountable. Hanging up on new clients (or any, for that matter) is baffling, but not so much as much as the way that I was spoken to by the front desk. I won't be recommending this vet simply due to the office's bedside manner. Unprofessional and not worth the time or money.

I had my 14 year old cat there for the first time a week ago. He was absolutely fine, great appetite. I wanted his teeth checked and yearly exam. Dr. Wright forgot to have him weighed, hardly looked closely at his teeth and they had him in the back for quite awhile. Next day he wouldn't eat. He has always eaten everything in sight! I called and because he's eating chicken I boiled, they did not want to prescribe anything. Now they want me to bring him back to get him weighed and we think he may be totally stressed and freaked out from his visit there. Never happened with other vets. They won't prescribe for possible nausea without his weight... which they neglected to do. He now has diarrhea and I will never take him back there, if he lives through this.

I called to see if there are any holistic treatment options for dogs with heart arythmias and spoke to Ashley. I recently rescued a dog on the kill list. She was completely and utterly rude. Would not let me speak at all. She placed me on extended holds and after demanding that she must have records before I could get an answer she then got a vet involved when I asked for her manager. I asked can you please tell me in general if you treat heart arythmias? She finally asked the vet who said no they don't treat them. A simple customer service question was extremely annoying to her. Terrible receptionist extremely rude and unprofessional. Will not be returning here solely because of Ashley. Hopefully management realizes she's running your business off. By the way she never did pick up my call she left me on hold and never came back in the line.

I took both of my senior cats in to see Dr. Watrobski on July 13. The technicians were atrocious. They returned my boy cat to me with BLOOD on his towel and a bandage on his arm and no explanation except that they had a lot of trouble trying to draw blood from him. They didn't even bother to clean him up. They were also inexplicably unable to obtain a urine sample. In the 28 years that I have raised cats, this has never once happened at a vet's office. My cats previously saw a feline-only practitioner, with technicians who were actually competent. I ended up having to do a free catch urine sample at home myself from my kitty, and transported it to the clinic. Because it wasn't properly done by the techs, the sample showed crystals in his urine. He's had problems with crystals in the past, but Dr. Watrobski advised me that it was nothing to be concerned about because his blood work looked good. Nothing to be concerned about? What kind of quack comment is this? If she was even half a competent practitioner, she would know that crystals in male cats cause life threatening blockages that require emergency surgery. Instead of taking this "vet" at her word, I had the urinalysis repeated at my old vet, who confirmed that my boy needed to stay in his acidifying diet for urinary crystals to prevent a blockage. Dr. Watrobski also completely ignored my email request to add on flow cytometry to my girl cat's labs. My girl was soon after diagnosed with leukemia by another vet - a competent one this time- and that flow cytometry analysis would've been helpful for the diagnosis. Ignoring a patient's request is both offensive and completely unacceptable. Patient care is obviously NOT her top priority. I've posted a snapshot of my email to her that was totally ignored. Finally, make sure you bring loads of money with you because you'll be price gouged beyond belief. Just be prepared for the sticker shock. This is the most I've ever paid for labs for my senior cats. Are they worth the premium in price? Absolutely not. Never returning here with my precious babies and will communicate my experiences here to everyone I know.

Our pup loves Dr Watrobski! She sits on the floor with our fur baby, doing the examination while our girl gives her kisses. As a very proactive Momma I'm very grateful I can work together with Dr W with keeping my little girl healthy. Also most of the vet techs are very sweet. Penny is our absolute favorite! Our family is into home cooking (nutritionally balanced) and holistic approach so we are very happy to have a veterinarian & a vet clinic that is in line with our views!

We love Dr. Watrobski! Our Koko is 15 and we needed to talk about aging issues of pain, sleep and digestion and she was so very helpful. She took her time and explained many options and now we feel comfort and confidence in what to do for Koko.

Thank you for taking care of my baby! This was a shot in the dark. I moved to the area and didn't have a referral for a specific vet. Thank Calabasas Animal Clinic for treating us like family! Taffy sends her love.

I was referred to this clinic by a friend who has been seeing them for years. I was pleased at the care my two aging dogs received. The honesty of the doctor and genuine concern for my pets was apparent. I appreciated the options of treatments vs forcing me into expensive services. I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for an animal clinic.

We LOVE it here! Our Bernese Mountain Dog is almost 7years old and has an array of typical ailments for the breed. We found Calabasas Animal Clinic when we moved to the area looking for Hydro-treadmill for our dog's arthritis. They have the most incredible whole body treatment center offering water treadmill, acupuncture, laser therapy, massage, chiropractors as well as traditional medical care. Their therapists are all, not only knowledgeable, experienced, and thoughtful in their treatment of our dog, they are also all just wonderful humans! The staff never tried to upsell services, listened to what our goals were (and what made sense financially) and paid close attention to the needs of our dog to help me come to a treatment plan. We have just moved our dog's entire veterinary care here. We met with several of their vets months ago when they were helping us to set up the right plan for our dog and have the utmost respect for their knowledge and skill as veterinarians. Calabasas Animal Clinic prides themselves in giving excellent and attentive care to their patients AND their parents. I feel listened to and respected as my dog's mama! We feel nothing but warmth and love when we walk in the door. Change is hard especially after being at the same vet for 6years and we are so happy we found Calabasas Animal Clinic and the wonderful team!

They treat our pups so well and the vets and techs are very knowledgeable. I also appreciate that they don’t try to sell us products all the time. They are highly professional, caring and kind.
