Our beloved 10 yr old dwarf lionhead bun passed quite suddenly and we had to find a place that would be able to do a private cremation so we can have the ashes. After calling around, including Cal-Pet which is where the vet sent our beloved German Shepherd last year, LA Pet Memorial had the best price by a long shot and were able to do a cremation the next day for us. BTW Cal-Pet's fee for a 2 lb bunny was close to what we paid for a 65 lb dog... Unfortunately having pets means having to deal with the aftercare as well. The staff was also very kind and compassionate. I'm so glad we found LA Pet Memorial.

I also cannot praise LA Pet Memorial Park staff enough for their compassion and kindness for the cremation of two of our cats who died, one in 2018 the other in 2023. The office staff and the crematory operators are so kind (Willie is amazing) and really listen to and care about your situation. It literally was the best care under the huge loss and suffering we were in at the time. Our vet recommended them and we felt taken care of there. Matthew in Van Nuys

Thank you so much for being caring. I am so heartbroken but I found a bit of peace with everyone I came in contact. Thanks for caring. From Taty and myself.

The staff was friendly and the process was quick and easy so I am giving 2 stars, but they also seemed careless, unorganized and unprofessional. At drop off they were asking my boyfriend about things that had nothing to do with my cat. At pick up I was first brought the wrong ashes and as I finally got home, I realized they spelled his name wrong on the paw print but correct on his bag of ashes. My cat was like my child and I feel like in an industry like this you should quadruple check things like spelling and practice reading emotions and being professional and empathetic no matter who your customer is. I’ve never heard of someone dying and their family being given the wrong ashes. Pets are family!! They should be treated as such at a funeral home.

I can’t possibly praise the LA Pet Cemetery enough. Understandably, we came across them under the worst of circumstances, but they made a terrible situation as bearable as possible. We were debating on whether we should bury our beloved dog at home or in a cemetery, and I’m so glad we decided to bury him here. The staff here are absolutely wonderful. Stacy, Jose, Willie, Katrina, and all of the other employees we interacted with were absolutely amazing. They were all compassionate, and you can tell that they genuinely care about the animals. Stacy did a wonderful job cleaning up our sweet boy and making him look like he was sleeping peacefully, she was also incredibly compassionate and helpful towards our family. Jose was so patient with us and took us to several parts of the park multiple times to ensure we were happy with our lot selection. He also helped bury our beloved. After he was finished with the burial, he noticed some stray dirt that had fallen onto one of the neighboring graves and immediately started cleaning it up, this tells me that he genuinely cares about and respects the animals that are buried in the park. Willie transported our dog from the vet to the park, he was very kind and communicative with my mom and even comforted her by showing her a picture of a rainbow that appeared above our dog’s grave the week prior. Katrina was very kind and patient with us and took time to thoroughly give us information and answer our questions. The service was beautiful, and they were kind enough to provide us ink paw prints and fur clippings from our dog. The park itself is gorgeous and well-maintained. It has a very serene environment. I have no doubt that my beautiful boy is resting peacefully here.

We did not know you were open on Saturdays and made the mistake of letting Cal Pet do the cremation which I will never do again they take way too long and charge for everything and not very sympathetic, I called Stacy today and apologized we miss our baby girl my wife has only said 3 words to me all week and they weren’t good.We will not use anyone else

It was in June 2021 that I brought our Boxer, Harry here. He was diagnosed with Lung Cancer and was given about 6 weeks to live, he was 4 years and 5 months old, and it took the wind of of my sails. We had never lost a Boxer so young, and what a handsome boy he was. When I went over to S.O.P.H.I.E. to view Harry, I was shocked at what I saw, he looked just like he was sleeping in front of the fire at home. It was heart breaking but comforting at the same time. Thank you Stacey, for the wonderful way you presented Harry. I drove up in the Golf Cart and watched as he was placed into the cremation chamber, then returned a few days later to bring him home. He will finally be released and set free, just as the "free spirit he was".Thank you again, Stacey and S.O.P.H.I.E..

It's been a little over a month since my Jax passed. She was my love, my joy and my emotional support. The Los Angeles Pet Memorial Park made this most difficult of times, a beautiful way for me to escort my Jax to her cremation. The genuine kindness and compassion I felt during this process was something I will never forget. I had no idea just how special and important it would be for me to view Jax before the cremation, Stacy took such care in placing Jax in a pink blanket, this little extra touch meant the world to me. When it was time for the cremation, Brian one of the amazing groundskeepers, was so kind and empathetic, he let me carry Jax in the golf cart up to the cremation facility. He could sense that I was not ok, he took time and talked to me about the park, its history and shared his own experience with loss. I cannot thank him enough. I would like to thank Brian, Kathy, Stacy and Shera for taking the time to learn a little about my Jax and being a part of her beautiful send off.

Nice, quick, easy, no upsell. We've used them twice over the years and wouldn't dream of going anywhere else.

Incredible experience. Had to bury our best friend, beloved son and brother Hercules. LA Pet Cemetery made us feel welcome and accommodated our same day burial request. I can’t thank the entire staff from the front office to the groundskeepers enough for making this experience easier for my family. I cannot thank you all enough for your service.

Sadly had to use the park/services about a month ago - I’m very happy I came here - the grounds are beautiful, the manager Cathy (I believe is her name) was kind and neutral while setting up services for me, the woman (I don’t know her name) who prepares your pet for the pre burial showing did a lovely job, I couldn’t have been happier, my baby looked more perfect than ever. I will definitely find out her name, I will love to tip her when I visit again and thank her. Also, the grounds keepers, all of them were kind during the whole process. Thank you Jose for showing me the land I could choose from, he was very kind as well as the others who helped to bury her. I would recommend this pet cemetery to anyone wanting to bury their pet in the LA area. Thank you all so much to all the staff.

God guided me and my family to this memorial park today and I am so grateful. My best friend Hercules (2007-2022) unexpectedly passed away in my arms this morning. After having been a recipient of 15 yrs of his unconditional angelic love, Hercules deserved to be buried with dignity and respect. I am so grateful to the staff who accommodated our request for immediate burial. I have no words to express my eternal gratitude for how compassionate the office and groundskeeping staff were at such a difficult time. May GOD bless you for providing our Hercules with a bodily eternal home. His soul returned to His creator GOD, but his earthly body has been left in great hands.

Incredibly poor communication. After reading the negative reviews it makes sense. Will be sourcing another pet cemetery. Don’t let them waste your time and probably money.

Sadly our baby Taro passed away this morning @ 9am. In behalf of my whole family , we are very grateful and thankful for each and everyone who helped us go through everything. They are very respectful and compassionate. The price for their services were very low and very reasonable. No hidden fees or whatsoever. They thoroughly clean the chambers tray every time and was able to wait for the cremation (while it takes weeks to months in other places). Our highest appreciation and recommendation.
