AAA So my 18-year-old has a BMW 2011 in California Calabasas and I’m currently in Canada his car sputters and breaks down on the side of the highway. I call a friend who will call Rich and ask him. Can you give me a local guy that you trust I don’t want to go to BMW as my son has no money he recommends, Sam at a Shell gas station Gelson and I’ve heard of this gentleman before in his gas station as being an honest businessman. Well, let me tell you that couldn’t be more true. He could’ve taken full advantage of me. Instead, he was honest, he was quick to find the diagnosis that a needle for the gas tank was not registering properly. My son was simply out of gas, he could’ve given me 10 different other reasons to spend $1000 oh my stars I can’t thank you enough for your integrity/honesty, and business sense you have 100% won me over

I've gone to this shop several times for small things - flats, etc. They've always been friendly, quick, and reasonable. They also do more complex work, so they're my new go-to.

I brought my car here for a repair but something just didn't feel right about the explanation and the price I was quoted. Thank goodness I got a second opinion because I was able to get it repaired elsewhere for $400 less. It is Calabasas though, so you have to expect prices to be a little elevated compared to the surrounding areas, just like everything else - gardeners, pool maintenance, etc.

I have to say this shop and maurice really take care of my mom and her car. My moms older and whenever she pulls in the guys always take care of her and the prices are always fair. I used to take my car to the dealership because i couldn't trust any of these smaller shops and the dealership starts and $250 for a basic oil change. Welp no more now i also take my car here and the really hook me up. This morning we pulled in and jose took care of the problem in 5 minutes. I just wanted to say THANKS OAK SHELL, because these days you cant find honest people anywhere anymore.

Best place to get a smog check. They didn't even make me wait 1 minute. Got there, asked if I can get a smog check, and they were literally asking me if I can pull up my car and pop the hood. Great prices also, definitely will be coming back with all my vehicles

I will not come to this gas station EVER again. The driveway located on the side street is so steep it left a scratch underneath my rocker panel BADLY (on both sides). It also made a loud noise upon entering this place. Hard to see thr damage unless you actually look under the car.When I asked the mechanics standinf outside if other cars have been damaged they all said yes. Then the cashier says a Semi Truck got stuck at the same driveway entrance. I let the owner know about the situation and he claims the station was built in the 1960s, and that's how he bought it. I never liked Shell due to their gas being low quality for me but also because their properties are not well maintained for customers.
