I got to visit Cherry Berry recently after having moved away from the area. It is even better than before with a huge selection of machines, fabric, notions, and classes. The owners, January and Randy, and all the employees are the nicest people. I love to visit quilt shops as I travel the west coast. This is one of the best.

Cherry Berry is like visiting family. - warm- hearted, caring, helpful and informative. I buy my machines from them because their prices are great and I know if I have any questions, help is right there. The classes are always fun, the instructors are friendly and knowledgeable . The owners, Randy and January become like friends at the first conversation. They carry a multitude of fabric lines, threads and notions. Ever go to a quilt shop and get looks like you are interrupting a private clique? Cherry Berry is the opposite of that. Sound too good to be true? Give them a try!

I'm a beginner and when I walked into the store, I was very kindly greeted. I told her I was a beginner and her face lit up with excitement & it made me feel so welcomed and comfortable! She showed me around the store and helped me with a beginner class. Being a beginner is intimidating and to be so welcomed made me want to come back and take classes here. Thank you!

Everything you need for quilting and sewing! Machines to classes and everything in between. Excellent selection of fabrics and accessories. Super friendly staff. Most fabrics are priced around $12-$14 a yard.

Helpful, Knowledgeable, kind team who care and encourage everyone from beginners to the most advanced. They've got basic sewing machines to very fancy and long arm rental time too! There's a variety of fabrics, tools, books, threads and a classroom.

Service is wonderful. I've brought two sewing machines and a serger for maintenance. The turnaround time was quicker than expected, and they worked great afterwards. When I have gone in for fabric, the staff has been helpful--especially when looking for backing fabric for 60-year-old quilt tops! They even welcomed me to use the classroom area to spread fabric out and compare. They do not have an enormous collection, but I've always found something that works. Their quilting prices are also reasonable. My king-sized, backed with denim!-- needed to go to Bakersfield for quilting, but the finished project was worth the extra few days. They're my go-to store!

Update: these people are lying, desperately trying to save face by lying about what they did and what I’ve said. Very sad, but consistent with my original review…This place is a TOXIC environment. Go there if you must, but beware. The owner tried to rip me off (my machine is dead, I need to buy a new one, but took it somewhere else, nothing is wrong). And the staff is about as rude and weird as they come. Last time I was in there, I mentioned I didn't like the owner, and one of the staff, "Ricky" started yelling at me... in front of the friends I was with and in front of other customers. Completely out of line, "Ricky" spewed so much anger at me, I only have to conclude it had nothing to do with me. 2+2 does not equal 246. Maybe it's working for a toxic owner? The fabric selection is not great, nor is the machine show room. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! It's just ain't worth it.

I would be happy to resolve issues with this business, but not when they are dishonest and lie. Their response to my review only corroborates my warning to beware. The owner tried to rip me off. Period. And now they are lying about it, and lying about my "provoking" staff. Toxic stuff.

Friendly, knowledgeable, and employees go above and beyond of what is expected as do the owners of this jewel of a fabric/quilt shop.
