About The Range
The Range is a vibrant music venue located in Slab City, perfect for both locals and visitors. Every Saturday night, it hosts an open mic event where everyone is welcome to perform three to four songs. The atmosphere is laid back, encouraging guests to socialize and enjoy the variety of entertainment on and off stage. Food is available, and it's a great place to unwind with friends, dance, and soak in the local culture. Visitors often park their RVs nearby, making it easy to enjoy the performances while cooking dinner or mingling. Unleashed dogs are common, so caution is advised for pet owners. The Range is a must-see spot for anyone looking to experience the true spirit of Slab City.
