I just moved in to this Avalon community a few months ago after searching and comparing almost all apartment complexes in Camarillo. It has the perfect combination of everything one would want as far as 'livability'. The neighbors are friendly, outgoing and quiet for a large well kept complex.
The staff is wonderful. One In particular is Jared. He assisted me through the application process easily. A very personable fellow, easy to talk to and very knowledgeable with just about every aspect of the community. Is usually available in the office when not walking around making sure all is good here. And he actually returns your emails and phone messages! In the same day!

The staff here is very helpful and treat the tenants with respect. They do the big things like keeping it clean and safe. They also do the little things like saying hello and getting coffee and doughnuts for all resident

This place is a pain when it comes to possibly renting a place there. Not only do they not return phone calls but they were lame when it came to touring the property also. I had rented another much nicer place and cancelled our application "in person" with the woman there because they never return calls and now they sent my son who is in college to a collection agency! Not anyone else but just him?! They need to get their act together. They should pay me for all this time that I have spent trying to fix their error.

I absolutely love living at Avalon Camarillo! The community here is fantastic - it's such a friendly and welcoming place to call home. The campus is always kept so clean, which really makes a difference in how comfortable I feel here.
One of the standout features of Avalon Camarillo is the amazing maintenance staff. Rene and Jose are always so prompt and helpful whenever I have an issue. Their dedication to keeping everything running smoothly is truly impressive.
I also appreciate the corporate-hosted events that add a fun and social element to community living. It's a great way to meet my neighbors and feel more connected.
The only downside I've noticed is that I'm a bit concerned about the affordability going down without any additional upgrades or features. It's something I hope management considers to maintain the value for residents like me. Also, it would be nice to have the mulch topped off so my dog doesn't step in mud after the sprinklers, please, and a dryer in the pet spa, maybe?
Kimberly and Ashley, as well as the entire admin team, have also provided great above and beyond service, so i appreciate you ladies as well!!
Overall, Avalon Camarillo is a wonderful place to live with just a couple of areas that could use some attention. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a welcoming community with great amenities! Thank you, Avalon team!

We are living here 6 years this memorial weekend (2024) and every day is fantastic. I couldn’t imagine living anywhere else. We came from Ft Lauderdale after living there for 47 years and Avalon made us feel right at home. Hats off to Rene and the entire Maintenance team that keep Avalon looking incredible and answering ALL maintenance issues rapidly. Eddie and I love it here and we have all of you to thank.

I lived at Avalon for over 2 years and it was bittersweet to say goodbye, absolutely stellar experience at this apartment complex! A big shout out to the maintenance service team for always being on top of everything, especially thanks to Rene M. who was always so helpful. Rene's attentiveness and professionalism truly set this place apart. Five stars all the way!

I just had to write a review on how fast and wonderful the maintenance team is at the Avalon Apartments in Camarillo! I have been living here for 3 years now and I am a very happy tenant. I had an issue previously of how different cars kept parking on my space. I addressed it to the office and the maintenance team and Rene who is just one of the best people I’ve met kept me updated and told me every step of what they were going to do. Now I don’t have the problem anymore. Thank you so much Rene! I also just had my AC not work and a light bulb went out and Rene once again responded so quickly and came that very morning to fix it right away. I have to give a shout out to our maintenance team Jose, Kim and especially Rene! Thank you guys for all that you do! You are greatly appreciated.

While visiting my son, daughter-in-love, 3 yr old grandson and newborn granddaughter, I had two occasions where I needed assistance. The maintenance men came to my rescue. They were very helpful in assisting me with a grandchild having a meltdown in the parking lot and offering gate access which I forgot to get before my family left the property. Thanks guys (Rene Maldonado & ?)!

Avalon is a beautiful community and we were able to learn everything about it from Ashley, she took her time to answer all of our questions and gave us candid advice on how to move forward and what to expect. She was professional, helpful and knowledgeable, Thank you Ashley!

Great property. Maintenance staff is professional and courteous. Had an issue with my garage door opener. Rene took it upon himself to diagnose and replace the faulty unit. The response time was super fast. Keep up the good work guys.
