First off I would like to say myself & my Family are very impressed with the new renovations of the rooms when I stayed there on the 24th of March 2018 i like the floor panel much better then the carpet ! Complete change from March 2017The staff is very friendly & helpful including the house keepers ( they do serve your needs ) Yes they do serve breakfast couple feet away in another building to the side but it's still on property grounds we could use some bacon , sausage but other then that you have a good selection of other items to eat. Breakfast Host is very friendly as well. she does keep the area clean & stocked and if by chance you don't see and item your wanting just ask her she can either say yes or no if the item is available. If there service wasn't good I wouldn't be coming back as a Regular Customer , so when I get home sick and wanna visit this is where I stay at the BW in CamarilloYou do have other Restauarnts nearby , Movie Theater , Outlet Mall , stores all in the surrounding area & across the 101 Fwy

Our room was immaculate and comfortable; the AC/heating unit was very quiet and unintrusive. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The complementary breakfast was no frills. Their roadside sign is easy to miss as the property sits behind a shopping plaza.

Had a great stay! The staff was super helpful and easily accessible for assistance which I appreciated. Their complimentary toiletries really helped me out in a pinch. My room had everything I needed...the curtains I had were a little raggedy... a little off putting could use a touch up /replacement on those would be recommended bc the room was cute, cozy, loved the reading chair in the corner the curtains kinda killed the cuteness for me though unfortunately .

Nice and clean. Rooms seem fairly updated. Hotel was a little hard to find. It's hidden behind a couple other businesses.

Stayed here with my 16 and 18 year old sons for multiple days. The staff here where very proffessional and nice people as well. Room was clean,,quiet, and convenient. This Hotel is tucked away from the freeway a bit so did not hear any traffic, along with being nice and quiet. Will be staying here again!

Writing this review from inside the hotel right now. It’s 11:53pm and I haven’t been able to sleep because i can hear nearly every movement happening upstairs. The ceiling must be sheet thin. Speaking of sheets, the bed sheets are so uncomfortable I think I’d rather be sleeping in my car. I feel like I’m laying on tissue paper and it’s making me itch. Please spend the extra money on any other hotel if you’re thinking about staying here.

This a one time stay only, so take it with a grain of salt, you can hear the freeway traffic, bed was hard like the floor, dust mice??, was itching later, neighbor sounded like they were putting the bathroom tub out, remote control didn't work a lot of noise. You have to call before hand to have them sanitize your room before your stay.

Comfortable and quiet. Walking distances to the grocery store, bars, and restaurants.

This is one of the better hotels that Best Western has in their chain. I recommend to anyone with or without a dog to give this hotel a chance. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The premises is clean and there’s an area for dogs to relieve them self along with p*** bags if you forgotten yours. The breakfast in the morning is good. Coffee is very good and the food that is provided will get you through your early morning.

So it's kind of a textbook 3-star motel, but I'm giving it an extra star for the terrific rate we got which I'm not going to share but which was half as much as surrounding properties. The good: It was pretty clean. The gal who checked us in helped us find the room that best suited us. We didn't use the pool but it was clean. Jacuzzi kept at a good temp. Rooms were surprisingly clean and not dingy or depressing the way lots of motel rooms are. I think it must've been pretty low occupancy when we were there because it was overall extremely quiet. Shower water pressure was great. A/C worked well. The front desk has everything you could need like bathroom supplies and towels and there was a bowl of candy bars for the taking. The not-so-good: - Both the lobby and the guest rooms are sprayed with some perfumey disinfectant or air freshener which was not the best. It really bothered my kid and if you're one of those people who has an aversion to perfumes, this is something to keep in mind.- The jacuzzi is, apparently intentionally, loaded up with soap so that when you turn the jets on it fills with suds. What the hell. I reported it to the desk after the first night, thinking someone had pulled a prank, but they were unbothered and unsurprised. - The wifi was neither super reliable nor fast. When it was working, I got about 9mbps which was good enough for my purposes but it probably would've been stretched pretty thin with higher occupancy. One night it blinked off at 11pm and stayed off at least til we went to bed around 1am. The next night it blinked off briefly a few times.- They played the covid card regarding housekeeping. They won't make your bed "because we don't know if you're sick or not". They will, however, vacuum and straighten up and deal with your used towels. I don't see an important distinction between towels that I've wiped all over myself when unclothed vs making the bed that I sleep in fully dressed. (Having said that, this place is better on that score than the Residence Inn in Oxnard, where we've always stayed in the past. They straight-up refuse to do any housekeeping under any circumstances unless you stay for 5 nights or more).- I mentioned the property was surprisingly quiet, and it was. The one exception was when two staff members chose to stand right in front of our room pretty early in the morning and have an endless chat, not moving along until I rattled the door handle. The "Be aware": This property allows pets. I never would've booked here had I noticed that beforehand because that almost always means filth and nonstop yapping. On this trip we didn't experience those things, thankfully, but I can predict it's a common problem.

We had a pet friendly room for an extra $30 fee. The room was clean and everything was functional. However, the room itself could use some updating. Fresh paint and new furniture would certainly help.

Stayed for several nights. Overall, the room was clean and comfortable and staff was extremely pleasant. Refrigerator was also clean and large enough to hold the food we brought during our drive. Appreciated the grab handle in the shower for getting in and out. Only noticeable issue...it was unusually warm in Camarillo so we had to use the AC. The unit keep the room cool but had a strong unpleasant odor...perhaps from the age of the unit. Also...curtains were pretty worn and torn. Only other suggestion: Make a little more variety for the breakfast other than the Jimmy Dean Pancake and Sausage on a Stick. Price for our room was pretty on par for the double queen bed room.
