Went into this location as I was coming back from a trip. I was waiting at the checkout with my boyfriend when asked for ID, I told the clerk I was not purchasing any items however they demanded to see my ID to sell the product.

Skip this store, and go to any other liquor store instead. Left this BevMo so frustrated, I don't plan on spending money in their stores anytime soon. I was standing next to my partner while HE bought things for HIS drinks. The cashier carded me, even though I wasn't purchasing anything, which would make more sense if I looked younger than I do, but I am well into my thirties. My ID happened to have expired so I'm waiting for my replacement. But again, I wasn't purchasing anything. I really only tagged along because the car was hot and I never imagined we'd experience this sort of BS. It was so weird to be carded in the first place, and unbelievable for the cashier to then take my partner's items and refuse to ring him out because of "policy". What?! Better judgement calls could have been made here. Left incredibly frustrated at the ridiculous situation and upset because the closest liquor store with the fruit liquor he needed was too far away. Why not card everyone at the entrance if you're going to be so unreasonable? I rarely leave bad reviews but felt the need to for this place. Spare yourself some frustration and skip this store.

I love this BevMo. The store is well organized and clean. The selection of product is awesome. I needed help picking out a bottle of liquor for a birthday gift and a young man named Mac explained the different qualities of each. Great service.

I went in to grab a bottle of wine for my dad and a six pack, heading to a birthday party and because my driver's license expired a couple of weeks ago (not that it matters, but an honest oversight if you had a window into my life over the last couple of months of balancing family health issues, a seasonably insane workload, and a home move) they would not sell to me. I'm 45 years old and it's not like my expired license isn't clearly me. My wife was in the middle of a hair appointment, but I drove over and grabbed her license, hoping that this would get me over the hurdle of this ridiculous formality in their system, but because she was not present with me this was not sufficient. Once again, I'm 45 years old. When the employee, who I am choosing to believe was just a bit too "by the book" and not just giving me a hard time (though I can't be completely sure), said that the system needs her to be present I responded that the system does not know she isn't here. She then proceeded to tell me "but the camera does" as if the company matches up the footage to the licenses, and as if, once again, I wasn't a 45 year old man with a graying beard and a receding hairline that would appear on that camera. Policies are policies and it's not the employee's fault that BevMo has such an insane, uncompromising reliance on computer matching as the way they handle age verification, but they should have an override. If this is the biggest problem that you encounter in a day, you've had a pretty good day and I fully acknowledge that, but this is completely stupid and frustrating.

I went yesterday to total wine in TO. 1 hour there only 1 person asked to help me. 30 seconds of being in BevMo! 2 people asked if I needed help. Difference in customer service. Will come back to this BevMo again.

Walked in about 6:30 on a weekday. It was pretty dead in there, but many of any customers. Was greeted when I walked in as I headed towards their spirits section. Checked out a few Scotches, a couple of tequilas and then headed over to take a look in their wine section to see if there was anything that caught my eye. Nothing did so I decided to leave without buying anything. As I was leaving one of the employees, who had spent the whole time talking with one of her coworkers, asked if I needed any help. Um, kind of late to be asking that. They need to retrain the employees and emphasize they are in the customer service business.

I love that you can find anything you need at BevMo to make a drink and to go with a drink. However, service to me is the most important thing. Maybe we were older we came from a different era, we like to chat with employees, Make a joke, and be appreciated as a customer. It's a really bad feeling when you try to make a joke with someone and they look at you like you're stupid, and act like they're too busy to talk to you half facing in the other direction, ready to run to get other work done. I worked retail when I was young and we were taught right from the beginning to help the customer and make them feel welcome and it is and like you are there to help them. Kind of like the service you get at Trader Joe's. Really, today makes me not want to come back. Seems like a small thing... It's really not. It's the friendly atmosphere that keeps us coming back. I can get cheaper ingredients at Walmart.... And I will.
