If you have been considering trying yoga, this is the place to go! I have been going to this yoga studio since March 2023 and am so happy I started. The teachers are amazing and guide you through the poses ensuring you are doing everything correctly. I am stronger than I have ever been and it's all due to yoga. The studio is absolutely beautiful with views of Somis. You have options of both indoor and outdoor classes. Everyone is so welcoming and don't be discouraged by your age - there are people ranging from 20 - 80 attending - and what a wonderful group of people it is. I couldn't recommend this studio more - try it, you will not be disappointed.

These yoga teachers saved me and (most of!) my sanity through shutdown. Now, I can’t imagine not having this regular yoga practice and this remarkable community.

I have been coming to CYC for about 6 years now, and I can honestly say this is the BEST yoga studio I have ever been to. Not because it's incredibly fancy, or extremely trendy, or full of "yoga masters" whose level I can never reach.I've tried out SO many different studios in Ventura County, everything from hot yoga to the cool trendy places with shops up front. Also, one of my hobbies is taking a yoga class whenever I go on trips. So, I've been to many studios... To say the least. What I LOVE about CYC is that I actually LEARN about my body. Every single pose is explained not only in yoga terminology, but also on an a very educational level. Audrey, the owner, makes sure to teach each pose correctly (not just something that looks cool), but carefully helps each student, adjusting them so the pose fits their body, and what it needs. She demonstrates each pose, breaking it down, so I can truly get the most out of each movement.Another thing I love.. there is ZERO competition here. I'm on the younger side, and I love that when I go here, no one is worried about looking cool. The teachers are down to earth, incredibly educated on the body, caring, and practical. All ages and types of people attend classes. And that to me feels really healthy and whole. There's no "club" to get in. Everyone is always welcoming and kind. There is no studio like this one. After all my years of searching, I am very glad to call it my yoga home. It's a real gem, and I encourage you to try it out! Yoga has completely changed my life. It's helped me with depression, anxiety, scoliosis, panic attacks, and has kept my body strong and open. I have learned how to continue deep breathing in difficult poses, and as a result, in difficult life situations as well.I am SO incredibly grateful for the practice I've developed at this studio. It's truly changed my life. "Yoga is for everyone" is their motto - so please do yourself a solid, and give it a try! <3

Tried 3 different studios in the past few years but it always flared up low back injuries and I ended up having to stop yoga and go to the chiropractor instead. Now I really appreciate Audrey and the other knowledgeable, patient instructors at Camarillo Yoga who take their time to focus on correct posture and breathing above all else! In just over a month, I've already learned so much about how to safely move through poses, and I'm feeling my core getting stronger. I'm so glad to finally have a place to do yoga free of injury! Its quickly becoming an essential and favorite part of my self-care.

I love Camarillo Yoga Center as Audrey, and all the instructors really make sure you're performing each pose safely before allowing you to move on. There is a gentle, relaxed, welcoming vibe at Camarillo Yoga, whether you are a beginner, or not. I like the emphasis on functional fitness and prevention to maintain as well as improve your body/health one breath at a time.

I went to this studio after injuring my back after I herniated 3 disks in my lumbar. This was close to 4 years ago. I was willing to try everything other than recommended surgery, pain killers and injections. Audrey sat with me for a one on one and taught me the anatomy of my spine and we worked on small movements to strengthen my lumbar. It took about 2 years to heal and I am happy to report I am 100 percent pain free. And, I am enjoying activities again like horseback riding. As long as I am careful, do my daily exercises, I am pain free. I also took Audrey's Mindfulness Meditation course a few years ago and this has been the greatest gift in my life! This course taught me how to slow down and live more in the present. Although I still remain "busy" in life and my mind sometimes gets off the tracks, I am more aware of when it is time to slow down, stop and focus on the present. I am also teaching my 8 year old son Mindfulness as he sometimes has a difficult time with slowing his mind and thoughts down. If you are reading this and want to give yourself an incredible gift, take this course. It can potentially change your life. It has mine. Thank you, Audrey. You have been one of my greatest teachers in life...on so many levels.

I attended Yoga 1 and Gentle Yoga. I was more capable at Gentle Yoga. Every instructor was patient and kind. I had some time off work and tried to go weekly. I enjoyed every moment. This is a great place to do yoga.

I have attended here for about five years. Attention is paid to good form and safety. The value is excellent for both time and finances.

I found my Nirvana. I came to Audrey with severely painful hip arthritis (in both hips) and her insight and instruction has helped me to now be pain-free. Besides her being an exceptional master in her field, she is patient, intelligent, caring, kind, beautiful and the epitome of authentic. She can accommodate everyone—disabilities, sports injuries, accidents, elite enthusiasts. She is especially gifted with her novice members—so if you've always wanted to try a class, but were too intimidated, Audrey is your perfect introduction to your yoga journey.

I was reluctant to try yoga so I started my journey with 3 private lessons with Audrey. Everything about the time I spent with her made me know I wanted to continue taking classes with Audrey. However, I was also living back east at the time so I had to find and try other studios there. What I discovered was that I never knew what my experiences were going to be. The "level" of the classes were not consistent across teachers so I often floundered. Whenever I was in Camari

This is, very simply, a great place to learn and practice yoga. The teachers are knowledgeable, attentive and friendly and very accepting of wherever each person is in terms of their body type, age and flexibility. I have enjoyed this center and the people for many years and cannot recommend it highly enough.

A few months ago, I started taking classes in Camarillo Yoga Center, about 3 times a week on average. Since then, I have noticed very clear improvement in general well-being: energy and optimism levels went up, anxieties and various body imbalances went down. The full credit goes to Audrey Waltzer, the owner of the studio, and her great team of instructors. Audrey is incredibly knowledgeable in the ways human body works, and she is using her skills to fine tune exercises to match each practitioner's particular circumstances. This allows everyone, irrespective of age, fitness level, and general health conditions, to get nurturing and stimulating workout. In fact, Audrey teaches some basic and necessary skills for taking proper care of your body which we surprisingly don't learn anywhere else. I believe it would be a great idea to teach those kind of skills in schools to provide fundamental and long lasting health benefits for coming generations.
