Damon is my computer Guru! Back in 2014, when I use to live in California, he was my go to guy. Then I moved to Nevada and had to find a new computer guy. Unfortunately, that didn't work out, after spending $$$ with the new computer guy, my laptop was still having issues. I decided to reach back out to Damon and asked him if I could come by when I was in town. I told him all my issues and he was very quick and efficient. Now my laptop is as good as new, I've learned my lesson, I will no longer go to anyone else! I cannot recommend him enough!!! Thank you Damon!

Digital Dummies / Damon is amazing! He is always able to help fix my computer or answer any questions I have regarding it. I have never met a computer tech with so much knowledge or care for his customers. I have brought my laptop, desktop, and other computers to him. He has been able to fix issues, remove viruses, and help build my desktop or suggest new components I wanted to buy. I HIGHLY recommend Digital Dummies.

My poor stand-by laptop (MacBook Pro) is getting old and I finally had to get it in to someone BESIDES Apple to fix it. They are too expensive, slow and not terribly good at listening to what customers want. Damon at Digital Dummys is completely different. I was frazzled when I called Digital Dummys about my laptop since I am in the middle of a very challenging semester at school while also working 50+ hours per week. I stress over things like a computer crash or mis-behavior at a really bad time, which this was. Damon wasn't fazed by my obvious anxiety the slightest bit. He listened to both my problem, my proposed resolution and quoted me a very reasonable price. He also gave me the name of another place (also highly rated on Yelp) where I could take my computer if he, Damon, could not resolve my issue. Damon did, in fact, do even better than resolve my issue. He managed to transfer my files to an external drive I provided (my primary request), cleaned up some files he found to be corrupted on my computer, AND managed to get my computer to stop turning off on the turn of a dime and then not re-boot. He did even this extra stuff within an incredibly short amount of time for which I am eternally grateful to Damon. THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! I'm being long-winded here but the bottom line: If you're in the Ventura/Oxnard/Pt. Hueneme/TO area and you're having a computer issue, wondering where to take it for diagnostics/repair, Digital Dummys will not disappoint. In fact, I need to get a battery replacement done and will be taking it back to Damon for that service in a couple of weeks (have to get past a project milestone here). BUT, at least now I have a backup I can rely on AND (at least for now) two working laptops to keep me going until I finally finish up my degree this semester. That is very much thanks to Damon at Digital Dummys. I really couldn't have asked for more.

Damon was GREAT!!! My Apple iMac hard drive was failing. Damon replaced HD, cleaned and updated my whole computer (this was done over night) Damon is our computer guy from now on. We will ALWAYS use Digital Dummies and YES Damon is the rock star of computer repair! Thank you!!
