I was looking to buy a metal hose reel since my old plastic finally cracked from being exposed to the direct and indirect sunlight UV rays . So I did some research on quality and price . On a rainy Thursday evening I looked at Home Depot website and the reel that I set my sights on , a Liberty Garden aluminum hose reel was in stock, actually 10 in stock. I go there and I don't see the the paricular hose reel on the shelf where it should be. I walk to the service desk and ask Joette ( I think it's spelled ) to contact someone to assist me on finding the hose reel. I guess their phones and intercom system went down , they couldn't contact anyone much to my chagrin. After around 20 minutes of waiting , they found the manager Joaquin. He took me to the isle and shelf where the hose reel is located and found one box of a Hampton Bay reel , apparently Joaquin assured me it was exactly the same as the brand that I was looking for .. he pointed to me the SKU number matched. For my extra waiting I asked Joaquin if they can price match a similar hose reel that Lowes was selling..$10 dollars lower .. Joaquin went above and beyond and lowered the price by half ! I was really appreciative of that and I bought the item .. Joaquin was very professional and listened to my concerns.. Raúl

This is the worst experience I've ever had at a Home Depot. There were several people getting through the self checkout and the associate working continued to just stand there. My wife and I with our son approached to use the self checkout and he picked up a bag of chips and instantly the female associate (didn't get her name, but she was wearing glasses and was clearly stereotyping us) ran up and yelled "are you going to pay for those." Mind you we had just spent a few thousand dollars on flooring but she was eyeballing us the whole time we were even approaching. Funny part is while she's yelling at me some other customer was in self checkout and I watched him not scan 2 of his items but she didn't care because she thought we weren't going to pay for a bag of chips. Come on now.....we gotta do better Home Depot.

Home Depot has always been great to me and the staff always knowledgeable. I bought cabinets, sinks appliances , gardening equipment. Wood , dry wall , paint , lights fans and so on . I'm also a vet and I get 10% on a lot of items off. Thanks again Home Depot

Someone had used my account unauthorized and I had questions about it spoke to RENEA the head cashier because I was transferred and she basically told me to go "F" myself not in those words, because she's busy. Kept talking over me instead of listening. Saying things like" have you ever been in Home Depot" obviously I have, I have an account. She then hung the phone up on me as I was speaking. I called again and the manager helped me out so fast a friendly. All he did was listen instead of talking over me and it was resolved. MANAGER 5 stars RENEA -1000 stars

I used enjoy shopping at this Home Depot until they scammed me. What an illegal operation they run on the flooring department. They lied and scam you. They promised that they will send someone into your house to measure your floor for free, but you have to pay a $50 deposit. Then they said this $50 will be deducted off your total carpet purchase. I had another carpet installer came in to measure the same room and come up with 150sq ft. The Home Depot guy come in and measured and said their computer calculated that I need to buy 230 sq ft. That is a marked up of 80sqft. Their detail quote show they will deduct $35 from the total carpet pricing, and remember I paid $50 deposit now they only give me $35 credit back. That is another big ripoff. They marked up 80sq ft more carpet that you have to pay for to cover the installation fee, but they advertised Free installation. This is so sick in the stomach to think such a large public own company in this country can be so crooked. I end up using another private installer and lost my $50 deposit. No more Home Fing Depot for me. I am going to other material supply stores.

We had purchased a shower stall kit, and when we opened it the walls were damaged. Our contractor had already installed the pan, so returning the entire kit was not possible. Not to mention, it would have been at least a two week delay. Into the the Camarillo store we went and were greeted by Jessica. She immediately looked up our order and came up with a plan that would work for us. What originally looked to be a huge disaster was an easy fix by the great staff at this store. Every employee we encountered was professional and helpful. Thank you!

I went to Home Depot tool rental to rent a mini x and spoke with an older gentleman that was extremely nice and professional and said he would put a hold on the Mini X for me to come pick up the following morning at 7 AM so they didn't rent it. 7 o'clock the next morning, I go to pick up the Mini X an Oscar rented it out from underneath me and even took the tag out of the trashcan from where he threw it. Home Depot just cost me a lot of money with guys standing around doing nothing. I will no longer use them an Oscar is a horrible employee.

I appreciate every time I go to Home Depot and get an employee that genuinely wants to help or is creative. Or knows where things are. A week ago I had been trying to figure out the best way to add a board to my work desk and how to mount it. Even as I was in home depot I didn't consider melamine board because I thought it would be too expensive, not the right thickness or too big or small. But when I went to the lumber section and briefly told Scott what I was trying to do, in seconds he pulled out the board in white and it was only $20. You could tell he really enjoyed helping customers. Just wanted to say thank you and it turned out great. The monitor mount locked in the monitor and board.

Here for the gardening section! Have found not so common fruit trees here like a dwarf meyer lemon and my favorite store to grab tomato plants apart from tomatomania at Somis The outdoor section is pretty much kept clean and organized. There isn't a lot of rose varieties in this store (I would suggest going to Fillmore for roses) but they have the basic perennials to attract bees Staff has always been helpful and appreciate that the parking lot isn't anxiety inducing as the Oxnard location.

Home Depot is STEALING from its customers! I tried to return a broken faucet and sink they sold me with a receipt and they would not even give me a store credit because it was over 90 days. I am being blamed because too much time has passed. The counter top was delayed because of shipping issues by over two months, not all the counter stone was shipped so we had to cancel the one bathroom. No need for the one sink, still in box as new as the day I picked up the order. The faucet was put in but the cold side was broken so we used the second one, I had no idea a store can sell you something broken and not give you at least credit back. They told me to go to a website for Home Depot that doesn't help me at all. It just states 90-day return. They still sell the same sink in the store, its up on the wall and in stock, they could re-sell this one. Why can they not just give a store credit!

It's pretty clear why this location has 2 stars. We bought a brand new dishwasher, it operates poorly and doesn't clean the dishes. We called numerous times to complain. We were referred back to GE. they take weeks to send out the technician, and still won't fix the issue. I know Home Depot didn't make the dishwasher, but they refuse to help the family of 7 that has a $1000+ dishwasher that doesn't work. They won't even let us return it and upgrade to a nicer model. We would like clean dishes, we are willing to pay additional for a quality product. Yet, we can not move forward. Basically, I have $1000 box taking up space in my kitchen, not returnable, not repairable. I'm not sure what happened to customer service?
