This is the perfect hotel for a family on an extended weekend or holiday. Each room has a large comfortable bed, spacious living space, and large kitchen/dining area. The one negative is the small store in the lobby where prices are way too high. I was charged $18.75 for two sodas and a snickers bar. Overcharging on the small things won’t bring repeat customers to your hotel. Other than that this is a perfect place to stay in the area.

It's such a shame.......Because just 1hr ago, I would have left a raaaaaving review of the property & staff. My boyfriend was staying long term @ this hotel. He stayed here for 3 weeks & I stayed with him for some of the time. Lovely grounds, (usually) nice staff) okay breakfast in the morning.Until check out day my front door had the "do not disturb tag on, check out is @ 12pm. And my front door opens & a man asks if anyone is in the room. The room is pitch black & I groggily say from bed "yes, someone is in here." He says something & leaves. 5mins later ☎️ rings & immediately "IS ____bfs name___ THERE?!?" Me groggily "not he left for work early this morning. But he told me he informed you guys". I could easily transcribe the whole conversation. But front desk YELLING is UNEQUIVOCALLY INAPPROPRIATE, UNPROFESSIONAL, & extremely bad business practices. Just a few sentences into their ATROCIOUS exchange I literally had to tell the extremely rude & unprofessional front desk lady "STOP YELLING AT ME AT 9:30 IN THE MORNING" and she continued to yell. Check out is @ 12pm by the way ??????. While I'm rushing to grab all my things, my BF calls & asks why they were yelling at me. He called them back immediately & instead of profusely apologizing for THEIR misunderstanding THEIR mistake THEIR terrible staff or plans for her to get a warning, or offering ANY compensation or heart felt anything. All they said was "sorry for the misunderstanding." ????Needless to say, what would have been a lovely review for 21 DAYS OF STAY HERE. You would think they would treat their paying customers & members club with more respect. However, myself coming from over 25+yrs of customer service in multiple industries, the way this situation was handled was absolutely irresponsible. But apparently that is not their best practices here. Management should really reprimand or rectify the situation.I know sometimes we see these reviews & think it's just that person or just that situation. Or that review is exaggerating. Which is why I provided so many details. Besides this event, there were other incidences which showed the management at this property leaves much to be desired. In addition every single day here, i received a "parking violation" WITH my parking permit clearly in my window. Multiple days, multiple different ways I displayed the permit. Every single morning I went to go tell them with permit in hand AND pictures of my car & where the parking permit was located. Over & over again. And every morning they said they would take care of it. They wrote my license plate # down multiple times. And somehow everyday they had no records of me. One manager? front desk lady apologized & said they are trying to work on communication between shifts. Meaning they are aware & still it is not working.... I could have easily over looked the parking situation. Which is also a bit ridiculous bc you have to pay for ANY vehicle to work any days. You really should have 1 included. You should also have 1 included if your a member, but alas they do not. Such a shame.Rooms: Room was a lovely layout. TV was horrendous. Doors slamming was extremely loud just FYI.Walkability: Very nice to walk around the grounds. Well-kept.Food & drinks: Complimentary breakfast every morning was decent. Although 1 day I did get a pretty bad stomach from the eggs. How do I know, I only ate the eggs.

Overall nice place and decent value. They charge for parking which is ridiculous, given that there's nothing but space around here. If it's in the city then I understand, but charging for it here is unexpected and disappointing.Room 5/5 : spacious, fridge, sink, desk, outlets, everything you need. Bed is comfortable, shower pressure is not great but not bad, shampoo is great. AC works well.Location: not really walkable to anything but near the highway and close enough to everything.Breakfast was delicious.

It was my very first time coming to this little town and this hotel too. As the uber dropped I saw beautiful serene nature surrounding this hotel. Mountains all around reminded me of visiting villages of France. As we entered the receptionist greeted and checked us in with her positive and sweet vibes of welcoming. It felt good to receive that. She gave 2 water bottles to take with us for the night. They had complimentary breakfast at the lobby. Pool, gym, fireplace, outside fireplace, and lots of sitting area at the reception area. After long time it was the taste of a little quiet and private sanctuary. We didn't do housekeeping services for 2 days but got some fresh towels instead. It was a suit and spacious. Had a little kitchen. I really liked my stay here especially because of the sweetest front desk receptionist. She got good vibes for the hotel and for her guests. I would come back if we came back in future. I recommended this place for peace and quiet times.Harharmahadev ???️✨❤️World Peace Love Light

This hotel is old and run down! Located in a below average neighbourhood with pretty much nothing around! Rooms are not clean, bathroom is rusty and kind of gross! Check in was ok, staff are nice! The nearby premium is also good! Not recommended!

We came into town for a wedding. This hotel was conveniently located near the venue, freeway, and shopping center. The rooms have a kitchen and pull out couch which is great for families. The staff and customer service was excellent! I've stayed at many places and its not often you meet a nice hotel team from all around (manager, front desk, maintenance, maids, etc) Our front desk service from Jocelyn was amazing! I highly recommend this hotel.

The property is nice and well appointed as is expected from a Residence Inn. Although I did not receive any complimentary water bottles upon check in (as I have received in other Residence Inns) and I found the breakfast lacking in comparison to other Residence Inns. I have food allergies and the attendant could not tell me the ingredients in the hot food. Other Residence Inn's had no problem with this. There should be a list of ingredients for all food served kept by the attendant. Carpets in the hallway and elevators were dirty. Guests above us had a dog that did loud laps until late in the evening.Noteworthy details: The hotel is tucked away in a residential neighborhood.

I stayed here with my golden retriever for almost 4 weeks due to water damage in my home. Rene at the front desk made us feel very welcome. My dog soon became friends with Robert, the maintenance guy, who was also kind. It didn't take us long too feel at home and I was a little sad to leave. I felt like I was on vacation the whole time even though I still had to go to work. I was a little nervous to leave my dog in there in his crate by himself, but he didn't seem to mind. Now for the drawbacks. I noticed the wall behind the bed was very dusty as the light reflected off of it. I brought my own all purpose cleaner, so I ended up dusting it myself, which was no big deal. Also the bathtub was not draining well. I pulled a gob of hair out of the drain, which wasn't my hair, and it made me want to vomit. I notified the front desk and they sent Maintenance up right away to fix it. It still was a little bit clogged afterwards, but not as bad. The main reason for not giving a five star review is that I was told it was a non-smoking property, though there were often people outside the main entrance smoking cigarettes and there is also an ashtray there and there wasn't any No smoking signs anywhere. So if you're repulsed by cigarette smoke as much as I am, I would recommend staying elsewhere.

The facility was large and connected to another Marriott property. There was plenty of parking. The room was very clean.

I stayed one night with my family. My room had full kitchen. I used it and it’s good. Breakfast is amazing, including waffle maker! One negative is the parking fee 15$.

Room was pretty good. Service seemed friendly...only talked to them when checking in.Note: they charged $15 per day to park a car. That seems crazy for a hotel located in Camarillo that I'm fairly certain 99.9% of people drive too. It's not like you're paying for valet parking in downtown LA. Come on guys.

A very nice place, all you need in a good hotel is here. Nice staff, good varieties for breakfast and from what I've seen a good selection of room types as well. We got a nice studio with a king size bed and a sofa bed. The microwave above the hobs was greasy and dirty but i consider that a small mistake, and we're not using the kitchen anyway.
