Very friendly service.The general curation was not for me, but I found at least 8 things I'd buy, including items made of copper and horn.I would say it's a very appropriate store for the Camarillo demographic.

Absolutely cannot say how much I love Surroundings!! Camarillo used to have so many fun stores similar to surroundings, but they slowly retired or decided to move…I’m so thankful Surroundings has stayed and provides us locals who remembers the good old days (Las Posas Emporium, Cooleys, Home Spun, etc) a place to come.

I came in bc I was passing by, on my way to Rubios, and noticed this cute corner shop. I needed a gift for my grandma who was turning 80. I was in a hurry bc we were late AND I was on a strict budget. I also had my 2 kiddos with me who were a little wild and disheveled (the way kids are supposed to be I guess lol). I expected the person working to likely be annoyed with the kids and snooty to me bc I wasn't able to spend much. HOWEVER this was not the case. Keith was SO kind! He helped me pick TWO gifts based on what I mentioned she liked AND within my budget. And then he wrapped them individually & beautifully! I was blown away. Keith was so funny and sweet and considerate... 10/10 would recommend to anyone browsing but especially if you're looking for a gift for someone you love!

What a gorgeous shop! There are beautiful and unique gift and home decor filling this beautiful space. The gentleman behind the counter was cheerful, knowledgeable and accommodating. They feature the works of many local artists.This will be my go to spot for gifts.
