Woodside Market and Deli is a gem, offering great products, friendly service, and some of the best sandwiches in the city. The deli is a highlight, with many recommending the absolutely delicious gyro, described as fire ass, bomb ass, and great, with generous portions of meat. The tuna salad sandwich is also celebrated as the best in Ventura County—delicious, tasty, and simple on a good sesame seed roll. Other sandwiches, including a special signature pastrami, are also among the best. Everything is always fresh and delicious. The market itself is extremely convenient, spotless, and neatly arranged, with a little of everything including drinks and jerky. The customer service is outstanding, warm, friendly, kind, and generous. It’s a highly recommended place where many have become regulars.
Without a doubt, one of my favorite experiences with an unexpected surprise. Miranda and Eddie were super kind and if you have a hankering for the most incredible pastrami sandwich you've ever had, please stop by and say hello. You won't be disappointed.
