Stayed for a romantic weekend getaway. We had never been to Cambria so we read reviews before we settled on moonstone cottages. Found the cottages to be clean, cozy and well maintained. Decor was cute and added to the coastal atmosphere. The bedding was super comfy and so was the mattress. Nighttime was chilly so we enjoyed the fireplace. The location is walking distance to the ocean trail, and two doors from moonstone bar and grill. Breakfast was included and delivered to the door at the time of your choosing. We sat out on the patio in the sunshine for breakfast each morning, listening to birds singing and view of the ocean. When we first arrived I was surprised by how close the main road was to the cottage. I hadn’t read this in other reviews. Ended up being no big deal once blinds were closed in the evening and the road was not heavily traveled most times. Another shock was how close the cottages are to the driveway. We have a midsize SUV but a large one might need to park on the road instead. Overall, it was a lovely trip and I would recommend it to other couples.

Cozy, quiet, romantic cabin immediately across the street from Moonstone Beach. Fireplace and huge, deep, jetted tub. Nice breakfast burritos brought to you each morning.

Absolutamente fantastic Experience in the Moonstone Cottages.Great location and ocean view! Clean,Cozy and private Cottages.Perfect for a Romantic weekend.Decoration was super cute.They have a separe shower and a big bath tub with jets.

I stayed here with my boyfriend for a quick weekend getaway! it's super cute! we had the cottage right in front and had 2 chairs right in front overlooking the ocean, where we sat and read, and enjoyed a bottle of wine. The cottage was cozy and the bathroom is quite spacious! The breakfast delivery in the AM was an extra touch that was appreciated. The only tricky part is parking - it can get quite narrow so I recommend being careful when pulling the car out. Other than that, I highly recommend staying at the Moonstone Cottages the next time you and your +1 are visiting Cambria!

I stayed at the Mariner cottage which is the one furthest back from the road. It was a nice, quiet setting and you can still see the ocean. The bed is a queen. The heat source is a gas fireplace. The bathroom has a very small sink, but a nice deep bathtub with jets. There’s a TV, mini fridge, and microwave as well. The wifi is very good. The provided soap made my hands feel sticky, so you might want to bring your own. And best of all, there’s a teddy bear to welcome you!

The cottage we had was the perfect place for a weekend anniversary getaway. It was peaceful, had everything we needed, and most importantly right across the street from the ocean. Beautiful cottage and Stash made it super easy to book.

We stayed in the back cottage, called the Mariner. It is certainly the best placed on the property, there are only 3 cottages. The one in front faces the street and in the summer I think would be very hot and loud. The one we had was also the handicap unit, so our tub was very small and the sink was microscopic to allow for a wheelchair. I was told that the jet tubs in the other two units (that I was hoping to get) were much bigger with a separate shower. Other than that it was a pretty perfect stay. They deliver you the breakfast each morning at the time you want and coffee and setups are in the room. Also, the microwave and fridge. The furnishings and decor are nice. It is a very small cottage and the Queen bed was a bit smallish for us as we are used to a King, so we have to take that into account. All in all, we would go back and probably try a different cottage. The prices were high even for off season, so for us, this is a special occasion place. We did enjoy it and it was so nice being able to see the ocean anytime we opened our shades.

Stayed here last year and it was wonderful. Booked for this year and it was runned down in just a year. The same cottage- Seascape. The bathroom smelled like mold and the bathroom window was broken and could not open. I had breakfast the first morning and it was good, the second morning it was skipped for some reason and the kitchen I was told was closed. No customer service at all. Manager Karen does not return phone calls or emails. Too bad-it used to be nice.

Three cute cottages just across from Moonstone Beach. Our cottage had a fireplace, jacuzzi tub and various seashore related artifacts. Great views of ocean can be seen from all cottages. The property is manged by the staff at the Blue Dolphin Inn 500 yards away. The staff is excellent. The driveway is a little tight and not recommended for larger vehicles.

We were so happy with our stay here at the Mariner Cottage. It's the one in the back, so maybe a bit quieter, but still has an ocean-view due to the siting on the property. While the cottages are pretty small, they have everything a couple or single could need- thoughtful touches included tons of coffee with cream in mini-fridge, good tech, nice toiletries and even a windshield cleaning spot in the small parking lot. Lovely breakfast delivered each morning with a huge amount of scrambled eggs, wraps & juice. Any issues or help just up the road at the B. Dolphin. Recommend & hope to come again!
