This shop knows it’s stuff!! If I could give more stars I would. Although their main focus is newer applications. I brought them the stock motor from my low mileage 04 cobra that had a cracked piston and they did NOT disappoint!! The owner handling everything from custom specing everything out on the Longblock to even getting special ordered powdercoat to match the exterior of my car. When Re-useing some of the original hardware they took the time to make sure it was cleaned to like new condition before installing. ( On that note you would expect this from them if you ever get a chance to see how meticulously clean the shop is ) Communication is very important to me and they exceeded my expectations in every way with weekly phone calls/emails. I’ve worked with other shops in the past and had some not so good experiences but this shop definitely made me feel at ease when dropping 30k. Anyone that has attempted to have mod motor work done knows it’s extremely difficult to find a shop that actually knows what they are doing. Definitely worth the 16 hour drive time! This place is THE PLACE!

Drew is an absolute gem of a guy and worked extremely hard to get my truck down. He and his crew made sure I got home safely for Mothers Day with my family with a beautifully upgraded truck. My car is my BABY! I would never trust my BABY, with an unreliable non-reputable shop! Therefore, if you want the BEST CARE AND WORK AVAILABLE FOR YOUR BABY… THIS IS THE PLACE, here’s why:
Communication 10/10 - very responsive to all my communications emails and call… I’m sure I was annoying too but it was well handled.
Shop cleanliness 10/10 - which also extended to the care of my car! My car came back cleaner than it was delivered. Seeing how the shop is maintained, it’s not surprising that their care extends that way!
Attention to detail and transparency 10/10 - Not only did they do impeccable work with running and tucking lines… echoing the impeccable work part as well as them being very attentive to what is actually compatible with the “build” I wanted vs the parts I had…. They didn’t just say “here’s your car, we installed what you provided!” In fact I was asked “what have you done to your engine, what is your goal, and do you have a budget?” Nonetheless, I ultimately had my mind made up about what I wanted, but took the PROFESSIONAL ADVICE! I couldn’t be HAPPIER! I’ve had ZERO problems with my car… in fact I’m hoping to see them soon, as I’m ready for some power to get added to my new baby!
Look…. If you have called AED… WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR??!

Brought in my supercharged S550 for a pulley change and a tune on 91(switching over from E85). Initially had some issues with the tune, however Drew was more than willing to take a look at the car again and ultimately ended up switching over to using Rob Shoemaker for tunes going forward, who is one of the best in the nation. The car drives great now, and Drew made the situation right by covering some additional costs himself. Wouldn't hesitate to bring it back for any future mods/work.

WARNING LONG REVIEW!!!!
Where to begin, as a long-time customer of AED RACING and have been burned by several other shops during the course of MEDUSA, I can tell you with complete confidence that you shouldn't look anywhere else for a shop. Drew at AED RACING attention to detail and catering to customers best interest goes unsurpassed.
From building my car (MEDUSA) into a nasty street car, to turning it into the fastest belt driven blower mod motor car in the country he can do it all. The military took me out of state not 1x but 2xs. Both times he worked with me. I now currently live in southern Alabama. a couple years ago I needed help with my engine doing head gaskets and making MODNATIONALS. Drew didn't even bat an eye "when are we going and lets look at tickets to fly me out". Not only did he fly out, and do headgaskets on MEDUSA (the motor he built has over 100passes on it on that point so I wanted a freshen up) we went out to MODNATS. Not only that but the car had had a ton of chassis work done since the last time he setup the suspension, he also plotted and setup the suspension yet again!
Talk about trusting someone with your life? I trust NO ONE to setup my suspension other than him. Powering 1300+hp down the track, I literally only trust him to ensure my car is setup and is going to go straight as an arrow down the track so all I have to focus on is hitting shifts. I want to get out of the car to see my family with no issues after a pass.
Track side support? Yep he does that too. Countless passes sending data logs to him with videos from the other side of the country.
I urge you all to do learn from my mistakes with other shops. I'm active duty and I don't have money to waste. Take your car here if you want it done once and right.
So that's my car that he has helped me with for street into racecar status..
Just purchased a 2021 Mach 1 HP package with a 6spd. He and I are already working on a 500rwhp NA package for it. Again from Alabama, I will fly him out here to do the work because I trust no one else.
Also my client with a Raptor R is looking for 1000hp.. Soooo yes you guessed right, he's coming up with a 1000hp package to install out here!

I came to Shaun looking for some advice on waking up my stock 2015 Mustang GT. It had Ford's Power Pack 2 tune and I wanted a little more power, with all of the information on the internet it's hard to know what products really meet their claims. Shaun was helpful with guiding me on what parts would make a difference for my build. He has done tons of real world R&D on the aftermarket parts on the market which saved me from just throwing money at the car. He was helpful from start to finish and after a dyno tune my Mustang feels brand new. Id highly recommend him for your Mustang needs.

Was very fast and helpful, helped put on some parts for my car, which went fairly smoothly(the part used to take off the pulley for my car was cheaply made, my fault not his), car runs great and will definitely be back once I put an upgraded blower on my 03 cobra!

One of the best and one of a kind ! I brought my 2015 GT to the shop and got a lot of work done over time, and everything they've done to my car has been precise ! I race my car a lot and I'm very pleased to not have any malfunctions I got long tube headers installed, GT350 intake installed and tuned, new 373 gears treated and installed,E85 conversion and 47lb injectors installed and new oil pump gears also treated and installed new short shifter mounted to the transmission ,electric water pump installed I mean this guy really took good care of me in a timely manner straight beast my car comes with different tunes we're you can switch from E85,91pump gas and flex fuel, he even thru in a ghost cam tune! when on the Dino we got 512hp in a natural aspirated GT if you want the best it's not cheap but also cheap work is not good !! Keep that in mind !! so if you ready to pay to play you hit up Shaun and get your build done the correct way !!

Tuned my twin turbo mustang and did not set up the over boost correctly after installing it. I told him to make sure and double check because I saw it was set way higher than it should be (24 pounds instead of the 14 at max it should be set on). We did some waste gate pulls then got into higher boost. Due to the overboost being set wrong he blew my newly built coyote on the dyno and didnt offer any help or take responsibility for his mistake. He blamed it on being "car stuff" and that for tuning that anything can happen and that I knew the risks. My $15k motor is being torn apart by a real reputable shop now and I will not be heading back. I advise dont take expensive products or vehicles you care about anywhere near AED. They might do a good job for some but they made a 15,000 dollar mistake and blamed it on "car stuff." I would be suing but for these situations it is very hard to prove. Be wary
