I brought Churchills a defective Echo product under warranty. The staff is friendly and helpful. I received my replacement product in a timely manner and was back to the yard work in no time!

The staff here seems miserable, and seems to go out of their way to be difficult and unhelpful. I don't know why this particular hardware store has so many employees with a bad attitude, but after spending some time here trying to shop, I gave up and went down the road to ace instead.

For not being a large hardware store like bLowes or the Depot of no help, Churchill's always seems to have what I'm looking for. Not to mention the staff is knowledgeable and attentive.

They serviced my circa 1988 Toro 18" rear bagger mower most skillfully. Busy, so it took 3 weeks, but it came back singing like new.Highly recommended.

I love Churchhill’s! They are always so helpful and friendly! Just recently I needed Sterno for a Christmas party. No one had it but them, but they had closed at 6 and it was 6:10. I asked if they could wait for my son to get there since my party was starting at 7:00 and I needed it for my chafing dish. They waited for him. Thank you, Churchhill! ???

Simply put, you have a hardware question this is the place to go. The owner is a guru of hardware issues, small echo tools, plumbing, electrical, bolts, building supplies. Great customer service.

I was on the hunt for a galvanized steel ash pail with a lid. I went to the two big box hardware shops. Nothing. The majority of staff did not even know what is an ash pail. I then went to a newly opened smaller hardware store, they have been open less than 5 days and did not carry that item in the store. Anyway, knowing we really wanted one right away, an associate at the smaller hardware shop told us about Churchill's Hardware in Cameron Park which was about 8 miles east up the highway. Sure enough, Churchill Hardware had galvanized steel ash pails with lids. They were kept outside with the trash can inventory. The price was on par to the big box online price. The shop is a throwback to the days of local, small owned hardware shops. The shop interior is small but mighty in inventory. On the weekday afternoon that I dropped in, the place was busy. Lots of customers, a lot of them were known and greeted by first name from the staff and vice versa. The majority of staff is quite knowledgeable in various home improvement areas. The cashier was a hoot, he was funny and engaging. He was interacting with each customer but not holding up the line. Great personal touch. Tip: since the parking lot has only one entrance and is not very large, it may be quicker and easier to park on the street then wait for cars to exit.

We love this place. It is invaluable to have it so close by and well stocked. They send coupons periodically, and on birthdays. Knowledgeable and an all around wonderful shop.
