Favorite bank! Every time I’m here the staff is beyond helpful and always addresses my every need. Truly wouldn’t want to bank anywhere else. Trust is built not earned and they’ve definitely gone above and beyond every time to make me feel supported/appreciated and that my finances are safe and protected.

Great bank! I had some troubles in the past opening up a new account with a few other banks, however, Matt helped me with ease! He answered any questions I had and helped me understand any issues I may have had.

Matt (who I am fairly confident is a manager) was completely rude, disrespectful, dismissive and completely incompetent when it comes to managing anything. He's rude to his employees and to all customers that need any assistance. I feel bad for the tellers who work under him. Tina is amazing!

I have banked with EDS for 30yrs. At the CP location; where I recently visited. Has by far the WORST customer service and most IGNORANT tellers.

I was in a hurry to transfer money from one account to another and to link up an account to my telephone banking. After doing the transfer and signing the form, I left and walked to a nearby McDonald's then saw the bank manager had followed me down the street, with form in hand, because I had signed the form in the wrong place! That's dedication to customer service.

Brand new customer, therefore getting use to the different ways this bank operates which means I have made some mistakes in the process. What would be really fantastic and helpful and apparently NOT doable at all are the women that answer the phone could possible be nice. My mood was just fine until I had to call again with frustration in my voice but that doesn't matter whether you are nice or frustrating because every time they have been very unprofessional. My only guess when this happens every time is they hate their job which usually means extremely poor managers. This has nothing to do with the branch, only when you call 1 800 874 9779. Let me remind you again, brand new customer, only a few calls made and each one met with poor and unfriendly service. Wow!!

2020 was difficult without saying, but the Truth at the bottom line is this... There is always a light at the end of the tunnel. This bank has been my light for a decade. They are highly effecent , knowledgeable n informative... Warm, kind, considerate and welcoming..my most recent example of this is.... 3 times, in 2020 my checking account was hacked... The most recent was in October while in a rehab hospital n contacted COVID..it took me a couple of weeks to find out due to not following my account. Matt the manager of the Cameron Park branch , as always, immediately took responsibility to follow up n research the problem... He stopped my card n the problem was solved before days end... I was protected and taken good care of... As a senior person, injured, recovering from COVID, I could focus 100% on healing as I am doing, while being deeply grateful for Matt, n his team for bringing such a wonderful difference of Peace to my Being... From the past I knew everything was in good hands ...I was safe... El Dorado Bank has n remains to be a wise n trustworthy safety net... Buttt, it like all life, it all begins within... Therein lies my sincerest appreciation n Gratitude to all involved that worked diligently to bring such outstanding results. I love your sweet Spirits...

I had one of the best experiences I have ever had at this bank. I want to say a special thank you to the supervisor Matt. He helped me and was very nice, respectable, and went above and beyond. He made everything very easy, and I highly recommend coming here. Very happy with this bank!!

I only had accounts with huge banks. Finally opened an account here and had such a pleasant experience with the supervisor Matt. Made everything super easy and definitely felt cared for. Nice change of pace from my other bank. Happy to be here now!

Very disappointed with Matt. I have been banking with El Dorado Savings for over 10 years and before closing my business a few months ago, had my business account with them. I have a cashier’s check for $2,500 and drove 4 hours to cash it in the Elk Grove branch and I’m told he would not be able to cash it but I can deposit it in my account and have a hold placed on it. I mistakenly thought that a cashier check was the same as cash but apparently it is not. So much for small banks caring about their customer. I might as well go to Chase or Bank of America where you expect to be screwed. Thanks Matt! Merry Christmas!
