I took my dog here because he kept licking his paw and his paw was discolored. They charged me over $500 to tell me that he had a yeast infection. It should be less than half the cost they charged for a simple yeast infection. The lady at the front desk even said she felt bad they were charging me this much for such a simple issue. I feel so taken advantage of and will never be coming back here. There are far better vet clinics in the area to take your pets to!

Dr. Olson and Kim the technician were very professional and compassionate. Companion Animal Hospital gave me a very great first impression. Their clinic was clean and organized. My husky has had a lot of problems with allergies and infections and I felt very relieved after our visit and getting a treatment in place. I highly recommend this place. Thank you to the hard working staff.

My only regret is not finding Erin Felton sooner. She is an amazing vet, patient, kind, and I trust her 100%. The only one I ever want to take care of our pets (fur family). I can't say enough wonderful things about her.

We just moved to the area and Companion Hospital made us feel right at home. Prices are reasonable too. We look forward to working with them for many years to come. :)

We first brought Sutter here when we moved to the area 9 years ago. The doctors, front staff, and back staff were always so kind and accommodating when we would board him with his long list of health issues and medications. Today though, he visited for the last time as we made to difficult decision to put him to rest and relieve him of his pain. This day was no exception, the staff was so sweet and many wanted to personally come in and say goodbye to our Sutter. We will be back as soon as we find another dog we can spoil as much as we did this little guy. THANK YOU for being so kind and knowledgeable regarding his many health conditions. Chris and Erika Robinson, and Sutter of course.

Had to make a last minute visit for my dog when his other appointment at another vet was canceled. Companion did awesome making my boy Tank feel better and then Performing a neuter. He is feeling so much better I'm having a hard time keeping this 8 year old dog Melli. He just wants to play.

This vet is the BEST vet I have been to in el dorado county. Their COVID precautions/system is amazing! The techs I dealt with were amazing and so friendly! The vet, Dr. Erin talked to me on the phone for 15 minutes. It didn't feel like she just wanted to get me in and out, but really cared about my dog. She gave me great advice without pushing anything on me, and the estimates she gave me were very fairly priced. Amazed with this office!

I love Companion Animal hospital from Service, Pricing, Expertise, Compassion and most importantly technology. I have a pug that needed soft palate corrections and opening her nose to breath easier. I was looking for someone who did laser surgery to ease the pain, recover faster and be precise. I love my pug. I looked everywhere that offered this laser surgery. UC Davis did not have this technology. VCA shows on their website they offer it - but no they do not. I finally call the manufacturer of the laser and gave me three name in all of California who does it. Companion was only 1.5 hrs away so I tried them. Dr Fenton met us and was so compassionate and listened to our needs. She sat down on the floor with my pug and you could feel the instant connection. She is great.... She got us in for the surgery within a week and the prices were so low. I was expecting $5,000 (per sites offering manual soft palate surgery) and the results were under $1000. She explained that the costs were lower because of less time being under anesthesia and faster surgery and that my pug would have short recovery time.. It was a win....... win... win situation. Everyone was great there. I am so happy with them I wrote to all the vets In my city of Lake Tahoe to recommend their face nose patients who need this surgery to go through Companion Animal Hospital. If you love you flat face friend, it is worth the drive to see them. I love them. Thank you Dr Fenton -Your the best. Paige
