The post mistress at the camp meeker office is the best! She goes out of her to be certain that you get your mail. She and the ups deliverer make sure none of your mail or packages get lost in the shuffle which is very important to those of us who live out here at Camp Meeker. Many thanks for everything you do!

Great little post office that serves our small community. Due to budget cuts, it is only open 2 hours a day M to F. No street delivery here in camp, so happy we can walk here to collect our mail and packages.

The last clerk at the Camp Meeker Post Office did a really good job of deterring me from doing any postal business there. The previous Clerk had created an atmosphere that was so off-putting I made my mate pick-up the mail - even if I was in the car! Fortunately for the residents of Camp Meeker the postal clerk didn't like us either and now we have Katy. Katy Lee has restored the sense of community our little post office once had. Even better she actually tries to deliver the mail and isn't rude to anyone and doesn't threaten to send back your mail if you haven't had the opportunity to pick up your mail in awhile. Her cheerful hello and can do attitude makes me feel confident that I can actually mail a package from Camp Meeker and it will get there. On Wednesday I did just that and spent a whopping $41. Might not seem like a lot but every little bit counts. I know our little post office must have lost a lot of revenue in recent times due to the reduced hours, closing for construction and more recently a very hostile postal clerk. It's been smooth sailing with Katy Lee on board. I recently heard Katy is up for a promotion - job well done- but if she accepts the promotion she will be transferred!!! Katy wants to stay at the Camp Meeker post office and is willing to forgo a raise because she is committed to doing a good job but she shouldn't have to. She's generated a lot of good will and good feeling around our little post office, losing her would be really be detrimental to our little town. (Yes, Camp Meeker is actually a town) Everyone has signed a petition in hopes of keeping her. We're all hoping she'll be able to stay because it's really nice getting your mail and not having to go elsewhere to conduct postal business. Imagine if you will getting your mail, help from a nice postal clerk if you need it, being able to mail something and know it will get there and running into friends along the way who are feeling happy after picking up their mail because the clerk is kind and friendly. That is reality today at the Camp Meeker Post Office. Sounds nice right? So no we don't want to lose Katy...

Hi! I'm Katy (Henriksen) Lee, the new Clerk at the Camp Meeker Post Office (started June 25, 2018). I've lived in Camp Meeker since 1999 and I know how fiercely we defend our identity as a village. My goal is to make the post office awesome! I aim to get everyone in our village to come to the Camp Meeker post office. See you there! :) Katy
