“I love this gym! Great equipment, but I don't like the metric plates, they confuse me. The sauna is way hotter than any other one on base. Come before 1600 to avoid the SOI kids crowding up the gym.
Edit: They made me put on my shoes when squatting so I took off one star”

Gyms
“Great gym. I can always get a barbell and a bench even during peak hours. The 24 hour access is great because I can come in late at night and grunt really loud and there is nobody there to judge me.”
“Not to say the other gyms on base aren't good, but this is probably one of the better gyms I've been to on base. They have a good amount of cardio equipment (now moved onto the basketball court to allow for more social distancing I assume).33 area gym also has a good amount of benches, machines, bench presses, leg machines, dumbells, deadlift stations, etc. The restroom is very clean too. Sanitation stations are placed throughout the gym to sanitize machines. Just make sure you wear your face mask at all times unless you're taking a sip of water or you will get warned, and possibly kicked out.In my opinion, the best time to go during the week is between 0600 to 0900. I haven't been there during the weekend. 33 area is a good, solid gym to put in some hard work.”
“Small fitness area that has all your workout needs as a marine. As of this post however basketball court locked down and only around half the equipment is available for use due to covid19.”
