If I could give 0 stars I would.Our quote was supposed to be binding. I went over every aspect of our move with the representative. I had exact measurements of everything, furniture, boxes, etc. we were charged an additional $200 for all of our square footage. Ok. I thought the quote was binding as that’s what our email stated, but it was adjusted and I assumed that was the final price. Our driver “mike” was late on arrival, he came on the fourth day, July 27. Our 3 day window was July 24-26. He did not arrive at our property until after 4 pm. He had a nasty attitude. He charged for wrapping furniture with his blankets and tape, a distance “carrying” fee from our door to the freight elevator in our apartment building. No one was carrying anything. They had two dollys with them, as well as one that we supplied. The blankets and tape were supposed to be included in the price. Our email stated that was part of the price. In addition, we were also only then informed that we’d be charged a “stair fee” despite our quote email stating we get a “free flight of stairs”. Total extra fee of $550! None of these things were brought up during or before the phone call to quality assurance. We called the company and they said they could bring the fee down to $200 instead. We reluctantly agreed. Next the two laborers (who arrived at 5 pm). First, I noticed some of our things sitting in the elevator lobby of our apartment floor completely unchaperoned. I asked one of the laborers as they came by why those things were just sitting there and they told me it was because management told them not to use that elevator !? Ok then why didn’t you take the things back to the freight elevator instead? Why leave them for anyone to take? Next the laborers declared since the apartment was empty, They were finished. The driver paid them and they left. Nearly half of our belongings were sitting around the truck dock. My husband went to the trash chute near the freight elevator on our floor and saw our things sitting near the elevator but not downstairs at the loading dock. Because my husband is physically disabled, I had to drag the desk and items myself, on and off the freight elevator to the loading dock. Tuesday we get a call from the driver at 4pm stating he’s 2 hours away. We explained to him that we were waiting for the call 24 hours in advance so we could let the property manager know. He then gets mad at me and states he charge a late fee for not being available at 6pm. I called our moving coordinator and explained what had happened. When we were called back, we were then treated horribly. The coordinator said we have 1 of 2 choices. Either pay $250 late fee, or the mover will take our things to their “facility” and we will be changed another “moving fee” whenever they find time to drop it off. Faced with no other choice, we agreed to the late fee. About an hour later, I heard from the property manager at our new apartment who said he’d be glad to accept our mover if it would help us avoid the late fee. The driver refused. He texted me saying “don’t play with me. I’m in a hotel”. We made it to the property first thing that morning at 9am. The property manager was there at 7am. The driver did not arrived until after 1 pm. He then presented me with a nearly $500 extra fee. I said “I thought the company brought the late fee to $250?” He replied “yes, the other fees are from when I picked up your things, like the carrying distance and staircase”. He came with no other help. He wore slip on sandals with socks which are not safe footwear for moving. He talked disrespectfully about us in Russian on the phone (my husband is Czech and understands basic Russian). He scratched our brand new wood paneled floor with one of our chairs. He continually made opinionated statements to us and the property manager. We hired your company to reduce the amount of stress of our move. Instead, our stress level was maximized.I have never had such a horrid experience with any other company.

It has taken me sometime to write this because we were so upset about our services. We have moved many times and never have they grossly underestimated the services this much (I now think it’s a ploy to get the business). I told them exactly what we had and the stairs that were involved on one side… we were told it would probably take 3-4 hours on each side. One side took almost 10 hours and it was only finished bc my husband helped the last few hours (something we were trying to avoid bc we had a newborn baby). It took 7 hours on the other side.The most devastating part is they lost our most valued item (monetarily and sentimental value). We called Mario many times regarding the lost item and he absolutely never called us back. I know things can get lost or damaged in moves but there was absolutely no follow up, it’s not professional at all. I would never use this company again, they seemed overly friendly and accommodating in the beginning and that is why we chose them, it proved to be very wrong.

Excellent customer service! The furniture was delivered on time. Vladimir and the movers were courteous and attentive with the stuff they were transporting.The furniture was well-wrapped and looked to be ready to be carried cross-country. I would strongly suggest Chas Movers for moving services in California and the surrounding areas!! Will definitely be recommending them to friends and family

I've used this company for both business and personal purposes. Recently, I requested a same-day relocation, and they not only accommodated my request, but everything arrived promptly, the movers were pleasant, and every item was meticulously placed and set up in my home. I can't say enough positive things about this company! They are by far the best I've ever had, and they're extremely reasonably priced! 10/10 will recommend them to everyone!

I needed assistance with a move and came in very handy. Throughout the relocation, they were extremely professional, efficient, and communicative. To keep my furniture safe, they wrapped it in shrink wrap, blankets, or both, and transported it fast. They deliver it overnight from Bay Area to San Diego. Chas Movers is someone I would strongly suggest.

My New Heroes - They were very careful of my precious possessions. Clean, honest and professional would describe the workers. The management was clear, communicative and informative. They had the best prices and were willing to work with my special circumstances. Simply top-drawer!

I found that the scariest thing about hiring a mover was just getting my head around the fact that complete strangers are taking possession of all my things for a short while. Chas is a small company, but they are indeed real people who really seem to care about their job. They filled their truck to the brim with my things and delivered it safely to my new home.

Just called for a quote. Ridiculous.I gave all the info needed for a quote. He asks how I found his services, I said from Google maps since they are close by. I said I am calling different companies and seeing availability and prices (which is what everyone should do to understand what companies do and do not charge (gas, extra fees for wrap, blankets, etc). He immediately says, "oh so you're looking for the cheapest is that right? Cuz im not the cheapest so I don't want to waste your time, don't waste my time."I literally didn't even get a quote, I hung up. Whoever the guy was, great job my guy. Greatest customer service I have seen.DO NOT HIRE THESE GUYS.I ended up going with someone that was in the middle range of quotes but was really friendly and upfront on all the costs associated.

They truly made a significant impact on my moving experience. When it came to various unexpected variables that pushed back my move date, Roman was very accommodating and understanding. The property has engaged the services of Chas Movers. Very impressed with their service. Their products are very good and the prices are fair. The movers there were punctual and professional. They worked efficiently and with care. They were able to fit our furniture and boxes by moving them into storage and loading and unloading them properly. They migrated from Northern California back to Southern California. I can definitely recommend Chauss Movers

I had driven across the country and too tired to move all of my stuff from a local storage unit. These guys came in and took care of it. They were very responsive and transparent with the cost upfront. The two movers worked very efficiently and were easy to reach over phone. Overall, I had a wonderful experience.

We couldn't have asked for a better experience for our 312 mile move from No Cal to So Cal. From Mario's support during the set up, flexibility when it was pushed out a week, countless phone calls for my OCD planning, he turned a stressful event into a pleasurable worry-free one. He even offered to locate storage facility when we thought we would have to move into temporary housing and store our furniture. Then the move itself, Roman and his team of movers (we had three including Roman)...extremely professional and very hard working. They went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly...even disassembling and reassembling a very large treadmill without the instructions (we had packed away already), and down one set of stairs and up another. All furniture and breakables wrapped so well, there was ZERO scratches (walls or furniture) on anything they moved. They moved all furniture and boxes exactly where we asked them to, unwrapped, and re-assembled, if needed. I wouldn't use anyone else...this was the best moving experience I've ever had. Thank you so much Mario, Roman, and team!

Chas movers were great. They moved us from Sacramento area to Running Springs ca. In southern Ca. The weather was windy and rainy in Sacramento while loading on the truck. They drove 459 miles after an all day load and drove to Running springs to get it unloaded before the snow storm that was expected that afternoon. This company.will work their but off for you. I highly recommend this company. From start to finish, very professional.

I needed all the parts of a classic airplane moved. Mario asked a lot of questions before accepting the work. All the right questions. He discussed the move with his team, and they agreed they could do it. The team came through, big time. #PROS! Careful wrapping, handling and securing. No damage!
