Not that hard to get in to if you plan your route ahead. Yes, they are on Topanga where it has a concrete divider and you can't turn in from the northbound lanes, but you can turn onto the street before it and get there with a short detour. You can also turn into the Bank of America parking lot from East bound Sherman Way and drive through to the Citibank lot if you don't want to make the right on Topanga. Service is about what you'd expect from Citibank, and the lines are usually shorter than most. If they get a rush at a usually light traffic time it can take longer, but they usually anticipate well. No problems getting in and out during my lunch break. The teller machines are seldom down and the place is clean. Other than a few square tiles missing from the mosaic over the door I don't have any problems.

Seven people in line waiting and only one teller window open. This isn't the first time.

I love this bank and I always get great customer service. Unfortunately today Quetzaly Hernandez helped me and it was horrible customer service. I don't think I'll be coming back to this branch.

My biggest gripe with this location is unless you're going Southbound on Topanga, it's kinda a pain to get in and out of. I always seem to be going Northbound when I need to go here so I have to make a bunch of extra turns to get in and then another extra turns to return going Northbound on Topanga. Beyond that, customer service is good here. On par with other Citibanks. No real complaints there.

Today, 6/12/2018, around 11 am to 1 pm, I went to the Citi bank at 7119 Topanga Cyn Blvd to open a new account, deposit $15000. I sat down with a helpful personal banker named Forouzan. I let Forouzan know that I'm a U.S permanent resident and showed her my green card and driver's license and she asked where is my country of citizenship. I let her know that I'm Iranian but I have lived in the U.S for 4 years as a permanent resident. She said because I'm Iranian, she will not be able to open an account for me immediately and she told me that I have to go throw security check to open an account. I said this make me feel that I am being discriminated against and she said that she is a banker and she is going to call her manager. Next thing, I saw Mr. Chu is approaching. After formalities, he told me that because I'm a citizen of a certain country, he is not able to open an account and he has to verify with "the Department of Compliance". I said I had an account with Wells Fargo, U.S Bank, Chase, and I even have a credit card account with Citi and I've never experienced such a thing and he replied because Citi Bank is a global bank, opening an accounting process makes it different from other banks. I immediately felt more discriminated and I felt I've been humiliated in front of bank workers and other customers. I asked him if he can write down whatever he says and at first, he said yes he'll write it down but Mr. Chu was very dishonest because he didn't write that down and instead he showed some random pages of Client Manual Consumer Account book and when I asked him to show me this discriminatory policy, he showed me some random pages and he kept answering my question in a dishonest way. I finally gave up and asked him for his manager and he gave me Ms. Savic direct number. Later on, I called 1-800-374-9500 and I elaborated the situation for the banker over the phone. He apologized, showed plenty of sympathies for I felt discriminated against and took a complaint. I might take this to appropriate authorities if I don't see appropriate action against the discrimination and humiliation I went through today.
