The Council Shop is a charitable thrift store described as the best in the valley and in Los Angeles. It is nicely organized and immaculate, with interesting, higher quality merchandise and awesome gems. The staff is always kind, friendly, and amazing, often going out of their way to help. Prices are noted as fair, though slightly higher than other shops, reflecting the quality. The selection is not as vast, with a small kids area, but it is an excellent place for donations, offering a tax deduction form.
Nice large, well lit, clean store. Some free, time limit parking and meters available in a lot shared with a laundromat. Do not park in area posted for laundromat. There is a Goodwill and vintage stores to shop nearby.

BEST THRIFT IN THE VALLEY! Always kind and friendly employees going out of their way to help and especially help the elderly! Got to love it! Always find a gem here! This is the place to shop! Leave those goodwills behind and come to the best thrift in Los Angeles!!!!!!!
