Was disappointed today. Went to drop off some unbroken, good to very good furniture at Canoga Park. The Hispanic guys in charge took one look at it and said, "I'm not accepting any of that." Their website promises that they will accept all unbroken furniture. Two of these solid cedar bedroom pieces go for $800 each with a little restoration. There was a grandfather clock, a solid oak ball and claw table, and a mirrored display case. I'm done with these guys.

If you like vintage decor like me, you might get lucky here. I've found mid century modern items in good condition. I've also found pink Depression glass here. The prices are decent. My teens always find unique clothes here. The staff is always nice and helpful as well. There was one particular sale day where no carts were available. A staff member noticed and went out of his way to go in the back and bring me his cart. I've never experience anyone rude here as some of the reviewers suggest.

I kind of not satisfied case when I get discount on some items, I noticed a couple of times, they charge you regular, to make up for the discount, for example if an item is 2.99, they charge you 5.99, which is not good and it sucks I love thrifty stores.... it's the one in Canoga park...

This review is intended to make aware that this establishment that takes in used furniture only takes the most pristine conditions I'm also Informed that this church run rehabilitation center will not allow people to see their families on the weekend of they receive any dented or nicked property, I'm sure there are more worthy churches for your donations.

I love Salvation Army. It has saved my life a few times. They literally have everything and it's the clothing I seem to buy an abundance of. I have to start over a couple times and I've always been able to afford a new start. That in itself is life saving

They don't provide a light bulb, so you can make sure if a lamp works

This salvation army is a good place for used CDs and DVDs and used clothing. Prices are better than Goodwill. Furniture selection not as good as it once was.
