The U-Haul app is terrible. Very glitchy at best. The only way I could return the vehicle using the app was to mark that everything was ok when in fact it wasn’t. Check in and out were a bit of a hassle. The location, which is all this survey is about is really not what you need to know. The location is great. It’s about your faulty equipment and lousy app. Again, wrong thing for U-Haul to focus on.

The rating here is less about the individual location and more about U-Haul in general. When we got there, we had ordered some moving pads and the people who work there told us that they’ve been telling U-Haul for a long time to take those off of the options to order because they don’t have them. They also didn’t have the dolly that we ordered. They said they’ve never had them, but U-Haul refuses to remove it from the options for booking at that location. The actual pick up process was kind of a pain as well, as it took us about 20 minutes to get through their automated “easy app“ in order to get the truck. The people at the location were nice, but had to deal with poor processes from U-Haul. Other than that everything went as planned.

This review is for an experience I had back in October of 2019. When I went to pick up the truck I'd reserved and was counting on at the 6423 Topanga Canyon Bl location, I was denied service on the spot on simply because I didn't have a smart phone that could connect to the internet. I had an entire day of moving plans arranged with various parties, and suddenly I was being told U-Haul wouldn't rent me the truck, ruining all of my plans, because I couldn't take a picture of my license with my phone. I received no advanced warning that this would be a requirement of the pickup process. This was a completely unreasonable business practice and caused me stress.

If you are an international driver, be prepared for PAIN when trying to pick up a vehicle! Nowhere during the booking process did it say I would need to take pictures of pretty much everything that can identify me when I pick up the vehicle. Had to go back home for additioanl documents that were not mentioned before.

This station has always the best price in compare to the other Mobil stations. I highly recommend to use the Mobil app because of two reasons: first you don't need to use you card or talking to the cashier. Second: you can earn points and redeem your points .

So I have been coming to this gas station to get my gas snacks and occasional pack of cigarets for over two years because I work around the block. Mind you I am a 27 year old man with absolutely no child-ish features, full beard and all. The cashier decides to ID me today, I respected the fact I didn't have my ID and didn't make a big deal about it. But when my mother went in to buy my pack of cigarets,she over heard the man at the cash wrap gossiping to the other woman clerk and laughing about the fact that he's sold me cigarets before he just didn't want to sell me any today. I know it's not a big deal it's just cigarets but where's the customer service to returning customers? And then talking crap and laughing about it when I didn't make a big deal over it You guys need retraining

1- The person who works there at night shift is always on the phone, the phone is on speaker, he was talking with me and at the same time he was talking on the phone!! 2- I visit the are 2 times per week to play soccer with my friends and on the way back every time I stop there to buy water. The restroom was always locked and the worker says it's out of service but the sign says it's for costumers only. This place should not have A sign on the window for out of service restroom!!!!!

This is the worst Mobil station there computers are down more than they are up working. Along with the homeless all over its pretty unnerving trying to get gas. Won't be back

This review is for phone etiquette/customer service only. I called this U-Haul location to find out what types of trucks were available to rent and whoever I spoke to didn't seem very interested in helping me or making a sale. I initially asked if they had any pickup trucks available to rent (today) and was told no. I then asked if anyone was returning a pickup in the next few days or if they had anything else that I could rent. The woman on the phone told me to look online for what I wanted and to call whichever location that could accommodate my request. She claimed that they (didn't have and) wouldn't have anything available in the next few days. I find it really hard to believe that this U-Haul location will have NOTHING available within the next 5 days. If that really is the case, they need to up the number of trucks in their fleet because NO inventory over a 5 day span is ridiculous.
