“From the moment I walked in the door I was blown away by this facility. Yevette ran that place like a Union Made watch. Russ and Tony are true leaders and when you play with puppies all day how can you not be awesome. The puppies are cared for to level I've never seen and they are all adorable. The icing on the cake, is knowing all this is done to help people at no cost to the patient. I proudly donate to GDA TLC on a weekly basis to maximize my contribution. If you feel you need to give money to someone to help others this is truly the place you should put your money!”

“As an avid shopper at Grocery Outlet, I have witnessed this program and its coaches do great things firsthand on countless occasions.
During one visit, I saw a young man who seemed to be struggling with taking instructions from the person providing guidance. I paid attention to how they interacted. Although the young man appeared frustrated at times, the coach remained patient, calm, and understanding. She explained things more than once until he eventually decided to follow her advice. Even though he still didn’t seem fully receptive afterward, the task was completed.
What stood out to me the most was that the coach never treated him any differently than anyone else. She treated him as an equal, with respect and professionalism. I truly applaud those who work in this field and handle these kinds of challenges with such patience and grace.
Seeing coaches from Pleasant View work so effectively with these young adults really highlights the amount of training and preparation they must have. It’s encouraging to see how they help job seekers develop the skills they need to succeed in real work settings.
Overall, every time I’ve been in the store and seen the coaches from Pleasant View working, they consistently maintain a respectful and professional demeanor that positively supports the individuals they are guiding.”

“The best goodwill in SCV! The best clothes, vibes and employees. It feels like community here with good music and usually clean. I like how the employees interact with customers too. Very sweet and helpful. Some items are overpriced but you can find gems. Pretty organized and big collection of clothing.”

They don’t accept insurance but neither do a lot of places and these guys were 1/3 of the cost of other places. I was hesitant to participate as I had never experienced therapy before but my therapist made me feel comfortable able helped me with my case to get my kids back. Thank you guys for your help!”
