I do not usually write negative / harsh reviews. Do not go here I have never been treated more rudely in my life. Tony was very forceful and aggressive with removing acrylic and it was painful. She made me bleed three times. They did nothing that I asked for coming in, which was to soak off the acrylic, and she was arguing with me and would push my hands down and slap them. The place was filthy and unsanitary and could not count the minutes to get out of there. Do NOT go! I am going somewhere today to have everything removed because I’m afraid I could get some type of fungus again - the worst nail experience in my life!

I have never posted a review before in my life because I feel they're just absolutely embarrassing.
I went in today to get just a basic French tip pedicure and an acrylic gel set that matches. I told Tony I wanted short almond French tip. I need them short for work so 1. They don't rip off and 2. It's easier to type. I came here about 2-3 months ago and got this exact same set and it was PERFECT.
So I'm so confused and upset about the way this set came out and my entire experience with this worker. When I told Tony I wanted them short she said "no it won't look good" and I told her I have gotten it before I want them short and that they look so good short.
Oh! I also got them done BY HER last time I was here.... So I don't understand what she means when she says it "wouldn't look good"she proceeds to argue with me back and forth and it's my sisters birthday and I didn't want to make a scene so I evidently just gave up. (Spoiler they actually DON’T look good Tony :) )
She rushed through the entire sitting because she clearly wanted to get off, they're all uneven in thickness of the French tip lines and length. She would slap my hand when she wanted me to put my hand in the dryer. Her entire energy towards people is ridiculous. The photos don't even do justice. My thumb nails are super short then my pinky nails are long enough to do bumps out of them... (see photo with the hang sign you can clearly see how much shorter my thumbnail is compared to my pinky nail)
When I went to pay the gentleman who was very friendly told me it would be $95...two months ago this exact same set was only $80...so I'm confused in the price jump when I didn't get anything special or higher priced.
I was so upset with the way they look and didn't want to even bother asking them to be fixed because I was there since noon and it was now four and we had dinner for my sisters birthday.
I've been coming here since I was in high school and I'll never return again.

It was a little after 6:30...
I was tired of looking at my nails and needed a bold change in a hot minute. Almost every nail salon in the area was closing at 7:00 pm
I made it to Beauty Nails a little after 7. And the woman took me right in and got me out the door at 7:40 with a new look!

this might be the worst manicure I've ever received. i used to be a loyal customer and will never go back. They also raised their prices with a horrible job! i've been bleeding for days and within two days all my nails had chipped. GEL chipping in two days

Fyi they arent open till 9pm. Just went there. It's 8pm. Closed. Drove all the way from the west side for nothing.

Stay far away! They are mean and have horrible customer service. Not only are they not friendly they do a horrible job. The way they answer the phone and talk to people and talk about people is awful. Don't bother I wish I would've read the yelp preview before I went in.

Horrible experience today, not only they cut me twice, but filed my nails way too short. The polish is all over the place. A lady did my toes and they are fine. I made clear that I would not leave a tip for the man that did my hands. The owner was there and offered for me to come back and do them for free… Sir, word of advice, today you should not have charged me for my service, you should have apologized as well for the horrible job. I understand you own another two salons in town, one of them is the Escape Salon in the Westside, where I have also had bad experiences. I will never come back.

They should probably just close. I have been going here for YEARS!! Not anymore! The main lady now, is so mean and it has rubbed off on the others. Just rude and pinches and throws your hand around when she wants you to move. also refusing to paint My nails how I want them if it has more than 2 colors, and I'm willing to pay! Never going back!

I happen to be in Santa Cruz for the day and had a little extra time decided to get my nails done, it was a nightmare experience as I've been to them before in the past and I thought maybe things that change but no they have not. Once I got there immediately I smelled chemicals which is not good to inhale, I had to use the restroom and the toilet didn't work correctly; my nail technician had dirty filthy nails literally wood dirt in her nails, I was getting a gel manicure and as she was trying to file away the old nail polish, and then wrap them in acetone and cotton in foil. She didn't leave it in there long enough, I had to keep filing. She was definitely very inexperienced, my nails were crooked I had to keep telling her they were crooked but of course she didn't understand me. So I had to get the file and straighten my nails out myself, and get the file to get the dirt out from underneath my nails. Now here's the kicker, most nail salons use pre-bagged new clippers, nail file, and in the tool that pushes back your cuticles and gets the dirt out, she use dirty clippers and the tool that pushes your cuticles back and gets the dirt out he was gross dirty and disgusting I literally had to put it into the blue disinfecting water myself. When I was ready to leave it was near closing time I had to use the restroom again badly as I had tacos and it was going right through me, they told me I had to wait as she was putting water into the toilet tank. So I stood there waiting patiently as I was about to relieve myself very quickly. This salon is very dirty in all respects from the bathroom, from all the tools that they use on your nails they are not, and nice individual bags that are new like most salons use. Stay away unless you want fungus on your nails. As you can see in the picture there is still nail polish left on my nails after her filing and using acetone on my nails she did a horrible job

I had a great experience at Beauty Nails. I got a gel pedicure and it came out great. The technician was very nice too.

Terrible job. No wonder they were the only ones with a space open. Chairs were dirty and broken. It looks like I did them myself. SAVE YOUR MONEY.
