Customer service wasn't very good inexperienced not very knowledgeable my husband was just looking for a certain pair of shoes and they were not in stock he asked if they could check there other stores and was told they didn't know how when in the past they've always checked

I had a very good experience here at Capitola Big 5 today. I just came in for a pair of running shoes and was impressed with how kind and attentive the salesman was. His name tag said "Mason." I feel that retail is a tough job; It's easy to become complacent. So it felt extra nice that this young man was so helpful and seemed to care about his job. Give him a raise Big 5 :)

In the need of new work boots and we couldn't find a the exact replacement of Eddie Bauer boot, but Alex went above and beyond to help us find some great steel toe work boots. Dewalt steel toe work boots! They are great. Nice and comfortable and a great color. These boots will be great for work! Alex thank you for the good customer service and keep up the good work!
