Called and left a voicemail to see if there were any available appointments. No one ever called me back. I tried calling a couple more times (all during business hours) and no one ever answered. Maybe they are too busy to accept new clients?? Either way it would have been nice if someone called me back after my voicemail even if it was to just tell me that they are too busy.

I absolutely cannot recommend this salon enough, every time I go I get consistent, quality service. Laurie Teitzel is the best! I used to hate my hair until I met Laurie, she is so professional, honest and kind. I've been going to her every 6 weeks for 3 years now. I am always happy with the results. I'm so glad I was referred to her by an old coworker. I hope I never have to look for a new stylist again. She's not only a great stylist, shes lovely person that I look forward to seeing regularly.

I would never trust Laurie again with money. she buys hair extensions that she wants to buy! I gave her $400 to buy hothead extensions. And she buys her talk extensions. And then I told her that's not what I asked for. She says it's all the same.With attitude. It wasn't her choice To buy what she wanted to buy.She should've asked me before she spent my money.I think that she's a thief and she's never apologize for spending my money. On something I didn't ask for. I explain to her that I was upset about it and all she said to me was I knew I should've have showed you the package. Are you kidding me. So if you buy hair extensions from Laurie make sure you look at the package. Because she will rip you off!!

What a fantastic experience...Laura was able to take me last minute and put together a great color, blend and cut with the Extentions. The whole time her vibe was chill, fun, and focused!

Where do I even begin? Sara is the BEST! She has been doing hair for a long time. She stays educated and takes classes as much as possible. She is clear with her consultations and I really appreciate that. I have gone from red to brown to blonde. She does it all flawlessly! Her cuts are amazing. Some how she cuts and dyes where it even looks awesome as it grows out. Thank you to the best stylist!

Industry Hair Studio is chic and fun. All the stylists seem really happy, focused, and professional. You know how you go to some salons and you can tell nobody wants to be there?... well not here! You can tell it's a positive environment - not to mention what they offer you to drink ;) Sara is hands-down the best stylist around. I've been going to her for years and she is focused and efficient - no reason to be there for 3+ hours to get your hair done. She's not messing around. She gets right down to the task of making your hair gorgeous and asks all the right questions to make sure you get what you want. She's been doing this for years (15+ years!) and knows her stuff. She also has a great personality and has been super flexible with scheduling when things come up. Give her a call - you won't regret it :)

Best Salon in Santa Cruz!! Great atmosphere and people! My hair has some issues and even though Aurezu recommended that I didn't go lighter due to the damage it could cause, I really really wanted to go light. AAAAAND she worked her magic and my hair came out looking healthier than it did when I went in! Highly recommend Aurezu at Industry, she works Christmas miracles all year round!

Industry is a clean, modern salon conveniently located near Gayle's, Nob Hill and the Capitola Village. They even feature local art work. Parking is easy. I have been going to Leilani for color and cut and Aurezu for Keratin, color and cut for many years. They are both expert stylists and wonderful people! I always have my husband take me out for dinner afterwards to show off their amazing handiwork. He says I look like a movie star! Highly recommend them.

I am so very thankful to have found this place! Laurie Teitzel is a hair genius. She was informative, pleasant, and not only understood exactly what I wanted but far exceeded my expectations and gave me the cut i've been dreaming of. Stacy Lippman did a killer job at giving my brows and eyelashes a new lease on life. They look better than they EVER have! After a handful of hair and eyebrow nightmares I am relieved to have found this local gem. I will definitely be returning!
