Best place to visit while in Santa Cruz. In the quaint town of Capitola, this hidden gem should be on your list. Jennifer has been the owner for years and carries many gourmet items, including Salts from all over the World, as well as great gift ideas. Cork purses, and items from all around the globe. Dolce & Gabbana decorative tins with Stollen bread are ON SALE now! Give it a try and trust me, you'll be back for more!!

Great shop that has withstood the test of time and the grueling retail business. Jennifer has a passion for what she does and I love that she doesn't have lame cheap tourist junk. I love my heart made from old barn roofing. Also got a super cool figs ball (aged and wrapped in grape leaves), I can't wait to eat it with some brie!

This is a high end gourmet shop. I have been coming here for years and am never disappointed with the products I have bought. Today I purchased a panettone loaf from Italy in a Dolce & Gabbana decorative tin; a rum infused syrup, nuts, and Stollen bread. I have purchased these items in the past and they were absolutely delicious. Jennifer, the proprietor, is so knowledgeable in all of her products. She takes the time to explain ingredients and how certain items are made. Family members have also purchased olive oil, truffle salt, Italian salt, and vinegars and they said these were the best they have had. If you are looking for excellent gourmet products for Christmas or any other type of gift, I highly recommend checking out this jewel of a store.

This wonderful teeny shop never stops giving great advice and having great products !! This year's 12/24 dinner: using their roasted apple grille sauce (2 bottles) our 6 pork tenderloins melted in mouths; the tiramisu cake in a tin from Italy with the suggestion to add "some more whipped cream + a sprinkle of chocolate" made this dessert beyond fabulous. J&B makes even non-cooks like me look like I know what I'm doing!! Folk art is wonderful too: bought mermaid maid made from an oil drum (Haiti) that's graced our front gate for over 6 years. J&B is a 1 of a kind shop - am thrilled to have it nearby!

The owner, Jennifer, is very knowledgeable about each and every item in her store. It's full of a huge array of unique gourmet products. Her selection of imported premium balsamic vinegars is above bar. Olive oils, syrups, spices, salts, sauces, preserves, you name it she's got it!

This is a high end small gourmet kitchen, home decor and accessory shop right on the main path to capitola beach. It's a small spot and from the street it looks just like any house fronting capitola ave. Assuming that you pick it out from all the other houses, it's got spots in front for about three cars. Otherwise it's street parking, unless you are hitting up those boutiques located in that strip mall with Gayle's bakery in which case just cross the street. As mentioned this is a tiny store. Once you get in a bit there isn't room for two people to stand abreast in the rows. Not a good place to bring your furry companions into-it's best to leave them outside in the shade by the water bowl. Inside this shop is jam packed with goodness. Think grade A maple syrup is the highest grade you can get? Think again! Imported Italian caramels, coop's fudge (and other products from coops) Rancho Gordo seasonings and beans, the best waffle mix in the world and more items of sheer deliciousness then can be accurately described. Don't know what any of that is? Well, are you in for a treat. But wait there is more-they also carry a range of kitchen equipment carefully selected for both form and function. The stuff they have is not only beautiful but highly functional-such as a three in one strainer/scoop. Again you are in for a treat. They also carry local handcrafted art, and some excellent handbags made out of cork. Fine that last bit A. sounds like I made it up, and B. sounds like something that'd be too weird to be useful. Believe it or not I'm not-the lightly treated cork that makes up the bags have the feel of leather but aren't as cruel and last longer. Also they look great. Pricing is on the high side. For the accessories it's one of those deals if you have to ask the price you can't afford it. The kitchen ingredients start at 20 ish dollars and go much higher. Totally worth it.

Just found this shop in Capitola near corner Bay Ave. Kind of hidden but so worth the stop! Jennifer, the owner, is so welcoming and she carries a wonderful assortment of kitchen gifts, olive oils, balsamics, decor and it's so beautiful in there - a gem in Capitola that shouldn't be missed! And she ships! and her cat Snickers, is adorable! Will definitely add this magical place to my gift shopping stops!
