I didn't have an appointment, but Reyna(?) got me in quickly. Very friendly and pleasant during my blood draw. Will definitely return the next time I need blood work done!!

I will never go here again. I would give 0 stars if possible. I was a few minutes late for my appointment. Kiosk didn't say I was late. Website said they give you 10 minutes, employee gave me less. Took a walk-in before my appointment with screaming kids that took up 45 minutes. By the time she came out she called some other guy who arrived after me, and asked what my name was, and basically said too bad, you were late. Didn't say I could check in as a walk-in and be seen. I was so confused and pretty upset because I had left work for this. I checked in as a walk-in, at that time the Kiosk said I was late. Employee kept showing up but calling other peoples names. She wouldn't even look at me. I walked out. Completely unprofessional and rude and don't care about people and their time. I have contacted Quest Diagnostics about this employee and they have yet to write back.

I'd give it zero stars, if I could. Terrible service and literally doesn't care about the time of their patients. If you are too busy for walk-ins, then don't accept walk-ins for the day and maybe give a person a heads up, before they sitthere for 45 minutes after checking in.

Do not use the machine in office as there is no way for you to confirm what time you checked in. Also there is no live person to assist for quest as the people at the counter tell you they are not with quest. So I came in 10 minutes early for my appointment. After waiting outside for 20 minutes I went back in. Nobody from quest inside so I used the machine a second time then tech called me a liar and said I was 10 mins late so she wasn’t going to do the lab test. This is outrageous and I question why the tech refused to look at my first check in Time in the machine. Very rude zero customer service

Extremely professional (at this location). The woman who works here is kind, friendly, and pretty good at drawing blood. And get this, this Quest location had access to my doctor’s orders! Mind. Blown. I drove 20 minutes to this location when there is a Quest a few minutes away from me. More on that below.I have visited 3 Quest locations so far:The one in Scotts Valley looses my paperwork or “cannot find” my doctor orders most of the time. Their phlebotomists are either very good or very bad (the large young woman who is usually there is very very bad at taking blood). The location at Safeway has a very good phlebotomist but cannot find any of my doctor’s orders. Also they closed “Indefinitely”.The location in Capitola has a lovely full time phlebotomist who is above average at blood draws. This location is the cleanest and most professional I’ve been to. This location is the ONLY one that had access to my doctor’s orders and informed me that ALL Quest locations should have access to these orders. I will return here!

Day after Thanksgiving I arrived for a 10:45 appt. I made online through Quest's site. labs required for a Monday procedure so this was important. No one was there . No note on door, no way to call anyone. Highly frustrating. Thankfully, Quest on Soquel Ave. accepted me without an appointment, and the woman there did a great job and was so nice.

I have been to this Quest twice in the past 2 weeks and have not been seen either time. The first time, I went during my lunch break and signed in on their virtual podium located in the lobby. The system asked if I had an appointment which I responded to as no then proceeded to put in my info as prompted. At the end of it, the screen told me there is a 0 minute wait time and I was next in queue and to take a seat inside the lobby or in my car. 25 minutes later someone calls my name, I was finally relieved since the wait time was 0 minutes just to be told that they don't take walk ins. I was extremely upset and pointed out the fact that I stated I didn't have an appointment during check in and the computer told me to sit down. When pointing this out, the employee said "well there's a sign for no walk ins - oh wait oops it's covered by another paper right now sorry!" So there was no visible sign and keep in mind, the sign she was referring to was a printed out piece of paper that had a paragraph of words on it and at some point says no walk ins, hard to catch even when not covered. So I left and made an appointment online for the next week, left work early to make the 3:30 time. Quest sent me several texts throughout the day about confirmation and checking in. When I arrive i see a printed out sign saying the location has been closed since 11:30 AM and everyone needs to try to go to the Quest on Soquel. Are you kidding?!? They are capable of sending me 3 texts today confirming my appointment and info about checking in and none mention that it has been closed for 4 hours?!??! Ridiculous and Unprofessional. See pic for actual hours, online listing is wrong.

Gone twice in last month and super professional and relaxed. Made me not pay attention while they drew my blood. That’s the skill. All good.

I made my appointment on line a month before I needed my blood test. I received two emails confirming the appointment. When I went to this location I was told that it had closed in April 2020, and I would have to go to another location. Why have this location still on your web site if it is closed?

Courteous staff treated me very well from start to finish. Ignore any bad review of this location, my blood draw was painless and super quick. Make sure you're well hydrated and your blood draw should be just as painless as mine. Maria did a fantastic job of drawing my blood. I highly recommend this location in Capitola at 528 Capitola Ave!!

Due to my long-term health issues, I need to get blood work done at least every 3 months. I've been coming to this location for several years and have never had a bad experience. There does seem to be a new person working here every year or so, but overall the service is great. The staff are courteous and work quickly. I've never had to wait longer than 15 minutes. Coming during peak hours (lunch time, etc) is always slower at every Quest location and unavoidable.

Went to get my blood drawn a few minutes after they opened after lunch without an appointment. I had to wait a while but I didn't mind. I need to lay down to get my blood drawn because I faint sitting up, and they were very accommodating. The woman (whose name I didn't get) found my vein right away on the first try, and was finished in no time. I barely felt it. I was a little nervous because of the bad Google reviews, but had an overall very positive experience and I will be going back for all future appointments.

I do not recommend this Capitola location for blood work because they rushed me through and even when it's a Quest the information was different then any other Quest I've been too. At the Quest by the Dominican Hospital that's been closed do to water damage it was always better the only equally good thing about Capitola was the person drawing my blood she was perfect and pleasant, and professional. Also the two front counter ladies the one who unlocked the front door for us waiting and the one that came in later. I hope to find some other place to get my blood work done so wish in luck.

This place is unorganized and the staff are rude. Sucks all the way around. I walked in at 9:30 and it's 10:30 still waiting? There are no people in the lobby so it's unclear why I have to sit and wait
