Hostile. I said 'excuse me' to three employees standing around. Two of them just turned and looked at me and the manger didn't even turn around and continued to stand there with her back to me. I approached them in the first place because my friend had already asked them for support but they didn't appear to follow through. Giant corporations think they have all the power but every time a customer has an experience like this they lose money. Treat your subordinates like human beings and maybe they'll be a littler friendlier to your clientele.

I don't usually like shopping much less shopping at the capitola Mall but, I do appreciate shopping One stop shop at Target as I would say quote unquote tarjay! It seems to me that Santa Cruz really did not want to have Target in our county and I understand why with all the reputation from Walmart and I know we won't let Walmart in and I don't think we ever will there's not enough room and they're trying to make more parking spaces everywhere on this freaking county line so I'm a full native born and raised Santa Cruz in West side that's right and don't you ever forget it! So capitola Mall is crap at all to us! Try to tell yourselves at Christmas time I have enough I have enough chant it I have enough I have enough! Then see what you really need probably find it Target!

Love this place in Capitola! They have lot’s of interesting stuff. Within the city proper as well. You should definitely visit if you’re visiting Santa Cruz and have something to buy!

Bad experience with one employee. I dont usually write reviews but this pissed me off. I was getting an electric shaver, I couldn't find and employee to unlock it so I asked another employee to call someone down. I waited 15 mins and no one came so I asked again, waited another 10 mins and no one came. Then I saw the employee that was supposed to help me, casually walking around the aisles. I asked if he's the guy with the keys and he said yes and came and unlocked it. I didnt bother asking why he didn't come when multiple employees called for him and I had to go find him because he clearly did not care

Edward in produce is extremely friendly and helpful. He goes out of his way to accommodate people. I highly recommend people like myself who have mobility issues use Target's application to shop online and then they'll bring your order out to your car!

Don't shop here , nothing is ever in stock because the employees are so damn incompetent and don't bother ordering online either because every time I do my order is always missing something!

I literally just walked out of this store at 3:00 pm on Monday January 15, 2024 after dropping the items I was going to buy on the floor while waiting in the self-check out line. This is the absolute worst retail store I've ever been in and definitely the worst Target I've ever seen; maybe, just maybe, it's on par with the Target in San Leandro, CA. There was a long line waiting for self check-out that seemed to be moving at a snail's pace. Ok. I have patience and understand they only have maybe four self check out cash registers. The line was long and was winding through the women's clothing department. I got in the line and as we moved forward there was only two customers ahead of me. The first customer moved up and the second customer diverted off to a cash register with a human. As I'm walking forward another customer just cuts right in front of me and parks herself in at the front of the line. Then a pack of young people (like six) of them tear in with their shopping cart and cut me off. They divide up their shopping cart so that each person doesn't have more than the requisite number of items. In the meantime, some bozo guy that works at Target is flirting with some other customers right at the point where customers enter the area to ring themselves up. And then some other lady from who knows where walks up and parks herself right up front in the line. What a bunch of loser customers and loser store personnel. Keeping a line of people straight ain't that difficult. We all should have learned how to do that in kindergarten. I can't figure out if I'm more disgusted by the workers or the customers. They really need a lane supervisor that can keep things moving properly. If that's the role of the bozo in the self check-out area he failed miserably. Target used to be a really nice chain store with nice quality affordable items; leaps and bounds ahead of Walmart. Now it's a joke. Just disgusting people acting like idiots!
