So this isn’t about the mechanics. I actually think the Toyota mechanics do an awesome job. This is more a disappointment in Toyota. I just bought my car 2 months ago. I also got the service package. The fact that they said I need a new battery for $250 already is frustrating. Oh, also new air filter and another filter. Again, shouldn’t all of those things still have been in great shape? I bought a used/certified vehicle. Seems ridiculous. Also, they always wash your car which is like a super nice thing. And they didn’t this time. My car was so sad about that! 😒

Rav was covered under 24 month warranty no charge combined with coupon able to replace wiper blades and battery in remote at minimal cost

I took my truck to Toyota Santa Cruz for accident repair because I bought two trucks from them in the past and they have the best shop and the best mechanics for Toyota
I was impressed that they worked with me and the insurance company to iron out all the details and corrected the parts that were needed to fix my vehicle and gave it back to me. Perfect better than new. Giselle and Mark talked to me and made sure everything turned out great.

My service advisor was very nice, but there was such a lack of communication I feel like during the whole process. I feel like I was the one that had to follow up constantly to check in on my car, also when I received my car back after being there for three days, which was more time than they needed, there were two valve caps missing, which I had just bought. Also, they lost a bolt for my interior seatbelt that they then had to order to which I had to bring my car back and was without a car for most of the day again. Additionally, I had paid a lot of money for a multi point inspection and then also ended up having to come back to inquire why my tire light was still going off and I was told that it was because the sensors were bad, I would think this should’ve been included in the service then I took my car in the first place and I had also mentioned that to them upon bringing it in the first place. I will not be coming back. It is overpriced and there is such a lack of communication and I wish I could give us a better rating, but it was such a big rip off.

No bull transaction with reasonable people who treated me with respect. My first contact, who stayed with me throughout the transaction (William) is a jewel. The manager who completed the deal was personable, reasonable and helpful. I was very satisfied with the deal. BTW, they have coffee and pastries in the back.

Took my new car for its first service and was completely disappointed in the communication and service experience. They refused to do the oil change because the service plan only calls for the oil change every 10k miles instead of 5k like I’ve had done my whole life with all my other Toyota vehicles. When I tried speaking to a service agent I was completely dismissed and told nothing I could do. I attempted to reach out to a manager and my line was disconnected twice. On my third attempt I was finally connected to a manager who also dismissed my concerns and need for wanting my oil change done. Ryan said he knows more about service than their own technicians and he grew up around mechanics so he knows what he’s talking about. “Doing your oil change at 5k miles is overkill and even at 10k miles is too much” I sadly cannot return to a service center that is not willing to listen to its own customers and completely ignore them as well.

They take appointments for absolutely no reason whatsoever. Need a 30 minute oil change? That'll be 5 to 6 hours guaranteed. Also general atmosphere of toxic masculinity and sexist BS. GOOD LUCK

Outstanding customer service when I called to check in for a brand new Toyota Camry 2026 I was given a salesman named Richard, when I spoke to Richard, he immediately found a Camry that I was looking for when we first met at the dealership. He gave us An amazing deal and he kept us posted on when the Car will arrive. Richard did an outstanding job. We appreciate the Toyota dealership at Capitola Santa Cruz, California. Thanks to the Toyota dealership staff and very thanks to Richard.

all well, took me immediately. they forgot to fill the windshield washer fluid, so I had to make another round trip. when I use it now it seems like it's mostly water rather than soap-ish like it used to be. otherwise, everybody is nice there And I trust that everything else was done perfectly.
