Absolutely ridiculous—no one will answer phone, no matter how many calls you make. Horrible customer service.

Made an online appointment with Merrill lynch for 3:00, it's 4:15 and I kept calling my Encinitas branch, no one picks up the phone. Some idiot picks up to talk about their non- high yield savings.....take your $$$$ elsewhere BofA is a hack....bye bye!

I rolled in around 10:45 with my mom to make a withdrawl (over the ATM limit). We were second in line. There was one teller helping a customer already - this customer had multiple transactions. There were two other employees working on something right in front of us but didn't help initially. After about 5 minutes, one of those other employees helps a customer. By the time we were finally helped, the line had grown to 6 people behind us. It took us about 15 minutes to make a withdrawl. Seems kind of slow. I wish both the other employees had started to help customers. When I'm at the grocery store and a line forms, I love it when the employees drop what they're doing and open up lanes. Certainly this place could probably use more staff. Definitely this place could have used the staff they had available in a more customer friendly manner to move people through the line.

I was thrown off by this branch having a 1 star average but after visiting, I think the other reviews exemplify peoples lack of awareness for the current state of society. Everywhere is understaffed, from banks to restaurants, so it makes sense why this branch is short staffed or appears understaffed. If you don’t understand why places are short staffed, do a quick Google search and have slightly more compassion from those working to help you. Nevertheless, everybody that I spoke with and worked with at my visit today was so kind, communicative and understanding. Even if you go to a bank that is full of tellers, that doesn’t mean you’ll experience the same level of customer service that I did here. Abel was awesome and super helpful, more so than others I have spoken with at other banks. Thank you !

We waited over 20 minutes for a teller to show up and to let us access our safety deposit box. There were numerous customers behind us. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE.

Standing in line now. One teller, ten people in line. This is how it is here most of the time. Please drop your Bank of America account and let this company die. I am so tired of BofA, they're terrible. All the branches are similar in this area.

Save your time this awful one teller I came in to get a cashiers check the ladies been there for a long time try to get it check she asked me 1000 questions the last thing she asked me for was my Social Security number I was sitting down she didn’t think I was watching her she wrote it in her notebook when I address her on it she got super offensive even the chiller next-door grabbed a little piece of paper and said every time we write a social we tear up the paper which she did hear of the paper but the lady didn’t notice I was watching her and she wrote it in the notebook she had no reason to ask for my Social Security number because it’s a company account under Federal tax ID number doesn’t even have a Social Security link to it customers be where she seems to be a Middle Eastern probably trying to steal personal identification you’ve been worn do yourself a favor go back to Wells Fargo close your account which I’m going to do today

This is the worst branch in the north county! It has one teller. Just go the the San Marcos branch. I’m so stressed out every time I come here. I have all my services with Bofa or else I would leave to another institution.

Jorge Valenzuela (the market manager of this Bank of America and other nearby branches) had at least 3 different employees test positive for Covid-19 at his Rancho Encinitas branch during this pandemic and each time Jorge attempted to keep the Encinitas branch open for as long as possible without notifying customers of the infections until the bank’s safety department shut it down to reduce exposure. This is unacceptable behavior and violates every health and safety code there is. Get this guy removed from his position.
