Capitol Debate Summer Camps provide an amazing and wonderful experience for children. The program offers both in-person sleepaway camps and virtual seminars. The camps are challenging but also fun, with an incredibly warm, supportive, and personal staff. Instructors give productive feedback and readily address any concerns. The curriculum helps children grow as debaters, building incredible skills and confidence. Students overcome shyness or a fear of public speaking, showing growth in their personality and more creativity. They become more confident speakers and conversationalists. Many campers expand their horizons and go on to represent their schools in competitive programs. Campers have a blast and make great friends, cultivating priceless friendships with other students. The organization’s commitment is clear, and many families are so impressed they sign siblings up for multiple years. Both children and parents look forward to returning each summer.
