Picked up a Cobra King SZ driver for around $270 CAD less than two years ago. Barely used it—maybe 1,000 balls total, always at the range or course, never abused. Today the head split—clean structural failure from the crown through the sole. Seam separation, carbon fiber cracked, visible delamination.
They only offer a 1-year warranty, which says a lot. For a club that’s supposed to be “tour-level,” this kind of failure is just unacceptable. I don’t think companies should get away with this kind of planned obsolescence.
We expect wear, sure—but not catastrophic failure on a lightly used $300 driver. If you’re on the fence about Cobra… maybe this helps you make a more informed decision.

I had an issue with a set of clubs I ordered for my son. The Customer Service team went above and beyond compared to the majority of companies out there. I did have to go up the company ladder but they came through for me in a big way.

We bought a set of new Cobra Ladies golf clubs through PGA Superstore. Less than 3 months into using them the shaft on the 9 iron broke, it was defective. PGA Superstore sent it back to Cobra for repair and when it was returned it had a different color KBS shaft on it, so it no longer matches the rest of the set. KBS says it can only provide that color to Cobra and Cobra says they don't have any more. Neither company is responsive to fixing the issue. If you are looking for good golf clubs and shafts i would recommend=d you stay away from both Cobra and KBS

I love my one length irons, but more importantly, the team here at Cobra Puma goes above and beyond to take care of their customers. Special shout out to Shawn Peebles for providing an awesome customer care experience. Cobra has a customer for life.

Not to sure who this Andrew Hiers guy is giving a 1 star saying cobra doesn’t stand behind their products! I find it comical he posted pictures when you can clearly see the ball marks that he made almost completely missing the club on the toe end? My question for you Andrew is why on earth buy a $375 driver when you can’t even hit the ball? There is 360cc worth of head there hoss how could you possibly miss by that much more then once? And if that is your skill level why not stick with your trusty strata until you get a little more consistent! With that said Cobra absolutely stands behind their products I’ve been having an issue with a 4 iron from the 2019 forged tec set and they have gone above and beyond to try and help me with my issue. I bought my Cobra clubs before I knew they had such great customer service care and policy! But now I am a lifer I will stick with Cobra until I no longer can swing a club!

DO NOT BUY COBRA BEWARE!!! Bought brand new driver 3rd day using it hit the ball and the head couldn’t take the compression it broke on the outside looks like the structure of the head just collapsed! They replaced it with a newer model, 4th time using it broke in the same exact way in the same exact place! Customer service said that their drivers cannot be hit on the toe of driver face they’re not designed that way. So basically what they said was if you don’t hit the ball directly in the center then it will brake and it’s your fault! Thanks Cobra for taking my money $375.00 for a product you don’t stand behind. P.S my original driver from STRATA the budget brand still hasn’t broke!

Bought full bag cobra Rad. Irons/woods... the design lends itself to problems. Weights fall out..no tool to repair..driver head continues to come loose, tool was provided .4 calls to Cobra..promise of weights on order to be sent. That the weights are always out of stock tells you something about this design. No return phone calls.polite folks in customer service but not enabled to solve anything. I've been without my club for over a month..as of today, new policy..I have to file another claim. Wait for a mailing label, ship my club and wIt for them to screw in a weight! My next set will not be Cobra.. great clubs when you've got them in one piece.

Their clubs are hands down the best on the market. Their clubs always stand out from the rest in way of performance and especially looks. Which is why I'm so disappointed in the ltdx yes it performed fantastic but the looks idk someone dropped the ball on the ltdx. But I can't wait to get my new ltdx driver. I had the survive and loved it now I can't wait for the ltdx. Cobra is very slow when it comes to shipping very very slow and they use FedEx which everyone knows how terrible FedEx is so be warned they use FedEx.
