Great service from an African-American vet in the store. Sorry I forgot your name. He was helpful and took his time to explain things. Loved the purchases we made. Went in for one shoe and left with 3. It was a great day!

I would give them a 0 if I could. Worst customer experience I have ever encountered. Absolutely no concept of what customer service looks like in todays world. Beware. Manager was incredibly rude and condescending. I will never set foot in this store again.

my family and I have been buying this brand for years. Due tonwork I would often but two or three pairs of the sane model and style. That back fired on me with a particular model as the shoes were pinching my foot making it difficult for me to use. I had bought three of the same exact startle lastly in 2020. I tried a pair and then felt the defective shoe pinching my foot. I then tried the second pair hoping that it was just the first one with the problem. The second one was also bad. I never tried the third. I called one of the local stores and spoke to the Mgr. She was very rude and declined doing anything asno don't have the receipt either. I then called customer service, and was asked to send an email only because that's was the only way they communicate. Already I was feeling the run arounds... was told to call another and another area within the company and must of spoken to 4 people. No resolution provided just a lot of run arounds. Then received an email saying they have chosen NOT to replace the shoes. Not expecting that poor service from a company like Cole Hann sadly I will never buy this brand again. Sadly, I'm assuming since Nike sold Cole Hann to Apax Partners Worldwide LLP in November of 2012 the level of service has decreased. Be aware of this before buying your next Cole Hann shoes...

Apparently they don't greet black people in this store. The customers who entered before me and after me were greeted and I was not. So disappointing because I love this brand, actually had a pair on when I entered the store. I drove to this outlet just for this store. Very very disappointed in their poor customer service towards me. And no, I don't always play the race card but they treated me poorly. Very clear I wasn't welcome.

I love the quality and design of Cole Haan shoes and their online customer service. But the in-store experience at Carlsbad outlet mall location is very disappointing.I purchased 3 pairs of Oxford shoes during Thanksgiving, but they are running smaller than normal ones. I have the options to return in store and via mail. I called this location, and the store manager confirmed that I can return online orders there. After 45 minutes’ drive and another 30 minutes’ waiting in line, the store manager told me that I cannot return them since they are currently on clearance. I explained to her that when I purchased them, they were not on clearance nor were they marked as final sale with no exchange or return. With a terrible attitude, she refused to even try to look up my order, and also said she rather not spending her time at work. I was going to purchase another 3 pairs of shoes in bigger sizes. Instead, I made no new purchases. Unsurprisingly, I was able to successfully submit an online return request via mail within 2 minutes after I walked out the store. She was obviously wrong about the return policy, as the 'store manager'. Not only did she waste my time, she also ruined the brand’s image. This explains perfectly why more and more brands are moving to online stores only.
