I’ve been here twice. Both very unpleasant experiences, the workers seem bothered to have customers come in although it’s slow. Only Lauree is very welcoming and helpful. I saw 3 employees ignore someone who asked for a bday ballon… Definitely the last location I would come to again.

This Dollar Tree is always clean and well stocked. The cashiers are always friendly and the manager (woman with hair usually up, I'm not sure of her name) always goes above and beyond. In today's world, sadly, if you go to the register talking about looking for something they just go "uh huh" and keep checking you out but if you mention something here, and I go here a LOT, they will point you toward it and say "actually, we DO have that" or "what about this, instead" if they don't. All together this is a great store in a nice area. They have things you'd never dream would be $1.25 AND, for it being a Dollar Tree the ambiance and people you encounter there makes it seem like you're in a Target or the like. I highly recommend!

Recently my daughter sent me down a rabbit hole looking for the wet and wild seaseme street collection. After many failed attempts and many stores I stumbled into the Carlsbad location where I was met with the most amazing women named Rachel later I found out she was the store manager and wow was I impressed she was the only one who went out of her way to inform me of when new shipments would be in and what times would be best to check to see if they had received any new merchandise. Rachel assured me that if they were to get it in I could leave my number and she'd call me to inform me of the arrival of any wet and wild products. And she did just that not only did she call to inform me of the new arrivals she called other dollar tree locations and found other items that I was missing. Never once asking for anything I tried leaving a tip. But she declined. Rachel loved doing her job and was good at it. Making the customer happy was all she was after and that's exactly what she did she made me and my daughter so happy. I have given up going to any other dollar tree,my go to store is now the Carlsbad location it's out of my way but I'd go as far as I have to in order to be treated the way Rachel and her employees treated me and my family. I absolutely love how that store makes one feel. Its like you've just walked into your very own home, friendly faces quick to greet you as soon as you enter and the customer service that just blew my mind. I wish I could rate it higher than a 5 star because Rachel and her crew totally deserve much more. Once again thank you Rachel ? and thank you dollar tree.

Store is super clean and aisles have plenty of items stocked neatly and very full. Employees are personable and very helpful! Especially the Stocker/Cashier, Kellie! :-)

They always have all right stuff. Some of the snacks are a little offset. But I don't think you could go wrong with ben&Jrrs ice cream. Dunno. Grab that. Some sardines

I'm just guessing the most people don't leave a review for the Dollar Tree. I am happy to make some comments about this particular location. It's Christmas time, and for most of us, it's a bit of a foot race. I was looking for a particular product for my daughter which she was having trouble finding. So I called ahead to the Carlsbad store to check for availability. The staff, Rachel in particular, was so accommodating. She took the time to run down the product ( Yay, they had it) and put it aside for me. The store was busy when I arrived, but help was on the way . Alva quickly found product and brought me through a short line. I was expecting an ordeal in finding this item. Rachel and Alva made it happen. Thanks to both of you. Merry Christmas to all!

I literally just went to this store, and the blonde haired, pale skinned female cashier with bright red lipstick was so incredibly rude to me, I am just in shock! She refused to give me my receipt & I had to reach behind the counter & rip it out & take it, myself. She also refused to give me the bag that I already paid for--which is behind the counter, so I couldn't even reach it. She refused to bag my things, too. I had to ask her repeatedly for a bag & had to bag my items, myself. If I were the manager of this store, this woman would have been FIRED ON THE SPOT!!!! I am 57 years old, and I have NEVER been treated this way by a cashier before! There is one other employee there, a Hispanic looking woman who is also always rude, but her rudeness is in not speaking back to you when you speak to her. At least she gives you a receipt, a bag, & bags your things. The other employees can be quite nice, but this one was SO BAD that I don't even want to shop there anymore! I hope she doesn't last long there, because this is the closest Dollar Tree to me, so I'll have to drive kind of far to go to another one instead. I am still in shock about how blatantly rude this woman was, and she was literally REFUSING to do her job!!!! I had been kind & friendly the entire time. I don't know what her problem is, but a person like that has no business working for the public. She obviously has zero customer service skills.
