I'd suggest you avoid working with these guys... they are ok while you're paying their monthly fee... but if you CANCEL... they won't be of any help. It's been 2 months since we cancelled... and our alarm keeps going off. The installed it... but they won't come out to disconnect it without a large fee. Lousy customer service imo!

I would not recommend 5 Alarm. I am highly disappointed with their service. They were supposed to install Honeywell keypads and did not. The two keypads they installed were poor quality and two hours after installing they quit working. I called and asked them to come back out to repair. After 4 phone calls of them saying they would be coming out they never showed. As of date the keypads are still not working and have not been replaced with Honeywell keypads. Also, I received a bill where they billed me for 4 hours of service and they never even came out to the house for that day and billed me additional charges. Unless micromanaging remedial tasks and stating the obvious is your preferred hobby, run, don’t walk, away from this company. Incredibly unprofessional. Stroll in when they feel like it, don’t set appointment times. Sloppy application of sensors. And my favorite, installing a camera system that does not capture images at night. It’s been well over 10 months and we do not have a working security system.

Previously I had a very negative perception of Five Alarm Security and my prior review reflected that. After my review, Sean @ Five Alarm contacted me in an effort to work through the issues that I had with his company.Five Alarm Security isn’t perfect, what I do appreciate about the company and Sean is their willingness to listen to issues that their customers are experiencing as well as their effort to resolve their deficiencies.The issues that I had in the past have been resolved and I feel it’s the right thing to increase my review to 4 stars to show my appreciation. My only regret is that the situation needed to come to this point in order to get resolution.All in all, Five Alarm Security is a good company to work with and I would recommend them to others.

We have used Five Alarm Security for all of our homes and our business and they have always done an outstanding job. They provide excellent customer service. And alarm service has always been top notch. I highly recommend Five Alarm Security.

Seam Hamm is the owner of this shady security company. Security equipment never worked right start from beggining. Then first complaint of malfunction on equipment, technician could not fix/could not make it work right and main office just made the problem sectionSensor turned off. And later stage siren was making so much noise from the house. Then my neighbor called me up about my security alarm was making loud noise and worried. Then I tried to call this company up for repair. Then Ms Jay Brown who is the office lady told me repair bill will be $100/hour. We had other technical problem and previous company fix it for free. But took more than three hours. I asked Ms. Brown if repair takes three hours, how much repair bill will be. $300. You will never know the shocking hi repair bill until they fix. Remember their technician came several times in several different days. Bill can be so high.Falks if you want good security company, I strongly suggest to look other company. Sean Hamm’s contract was so unfair and we felt his business practice is highly questionable. If you have similar experience, get in touch with Yelp, company review, Better business bureau and you may get legal advice from your lawyer.Also Sean Hamm up sold price of service from $25.99 to $30plus. But I did not have first conversation record with Sean Hamm nor I had enough time to look around. I do hold regular job. I cannot spend all day for looking around the security companies. He hides behind office lady’s back while he is listening my conversation with Mis. Brown(his office lady). What a guy. He made me sign three year’s contract. If I knew how he screw service charge to customer, I would never went with this company. Also cancellation charge would be equivalent to the rest of the balance of the bill. NO GOOD!

I been a faithful customer since 2011 and during this time I experienced great service. In April of this year we had a misunderstanding and I like to thank Sean who is the CEO of the company for taking the initiative to personally call me and resolve this matter immediately. Nowadays, it is just really hard to leave your home without worrying too much of the things that could possibly happen while you are away. That is when having a security system set up becomes essential. It truly gave me peace of mind when I asked Five Alarm to install a security system to my home. If you need the same thing, contact them right away! They are the best.

I’m constantly traveling due to work and I always worry about my family. I knew that a security system is just what I needed to be at ease every time I am away from them. I called Five Alarm and got a free quote right away. I was even able to design my own security. Now, I can continue traveling without having to worry that much.
