Social & psychological theorists, as well as philosophers, have long postulated about freedom and liberty though none of this richness can be worn like an emblem of sheer stupidity like the woke numbers from this U.S.A. brand called, "Free People", which probably profits from sweatshop labour in impoverished countries with low labour standards. Their frocks express intellectual scarcity and academic vacuousness that stirs only the desert sands of my soul. Not willing to be a repeat customer.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! It's hard to believe those girls are getting paid for just chatting and ignoring customers. They don't even acknowledge you nor offer to help. I didn't wanna spend my money in this store, so I decided I'd shop online.

This Free People seems neglected or the people who choose merchandise for this store are failing. They have such a small selection and hardly anything that you see on the store website. It's disappointing to go in and find nothing over and over again on each visit. It seems like they are missing a chance to really make a profit buy not carrying the brands NEW items, array of denim and SHOES!Starting to lose interest

Very cute store! It's not very big but has nice displays and is set up well. I think there are 3 dressing rooms, an accessory area, and a small clearance section in the back. The girls today were all very sweet and helpful. In the past sometimes they would just be talking behind the counter or in groups but today they were all busy assisting and changing displays. Wish they had more sizes but I will go online and shop

Not very friendly staff, wasn't greeted at all.... never asked if I needed anything, and completely chatted amongst themselves like customers weren't in the store. Very sad with this experience. I generally love free people clothing... but if they can't hire staff to acknowledge their customers, then I have no problem shopping elsewhere.

I was hesitant to visit this location based on previous reviews of poor customer service. But went today and had a great experience! There were 3 employees working and all were super nice and helpful. Left with really beautiful items! I highly recommend. We don’t have a Free People where I live, so seeing everything in the store was great!

Came in to spend some money... No greeting from the employee (ok whatever) then waited outside the dressing rooms for a few minutes to be brought in... again no help. Decided to just let myself in (she continued to be on the phone). Tried on my item which was luckily my size. Left the dressing room and walked up to the counter to pay... Again NO acknowledgement just proceeded to talk to the manager over the phone about someone she interviewed earlier that day while ringing me up. No thank you for coming in, no apology for being on the phone, in fact she apologized to her manager for stopping mid conversation to ask if I wanted a receipt (lol) honestly I was BLOWN away. So unprofessional and rude. Had she spent two minutes to acknowledge me I would have asked her what was new and what I should try on.... I ended up leaving (again without acknowledgement) and walking around the corner to Sedera where I was helped the entire time and spent $500. Next time I'll be skipping Free People and heading straight there.

This is the worst Free People i have ever been to! The associates are beyond rude. They will never greet you when you walk into the store and will never offer help unless you look "high-end." When the girl at the register saw me waiting to check out she said "Are you done?" with a nasty attitude. Didn't even give me a bag! She didn't even hand me the item she just tossed it onto the counter! Next time i receive service like this i will be calling corporate.

Great store and clothes but the ladies working there will not speak to you! I love Free People and would like to enjoy shopping here but unfortunately didn’t have a good experience!

The worst customer service I have ever experienced. I came in today with a return and the sales associate was so rude! I will never purchase anything from Free People again!

There's barely any clothes in this store. Employees won't bother to help if you don't look like you have a bunch of money. They will just stare at you and give you dirty looks.

I visited the Carlsbad store for the first time a few weeks ago. I’m always excited to shop At a Free People store, however my excitement was short lived. The clothing was beautiful, but the staff not so much , they were not helpful , and when I was purchasing my items the young lady assisting me was in great need of an Inservice on customer service. I attempted to be friendly and make small talk , but she wasn’t having it. I try not to be judgmental, and realize all of us have bad days , but when you are in the customer service industry , you have to “Suck it Up” The sad part is I spend a lot of money with Free People and when you spend your hard earned money you don’t deserve this. But I would like to give a shout out to the Fashion Valley store , the store is great and the staff are amazing, take note Carlsbad.
