Tremendous food and service. Elias (waiter behind the bar) was an fantastic server. He was very well mannered. I am currently dealing with a handicap and he was able to help me enjoy my experience here. The food was fantastic but I have to say he really elevated the experience. Will absolutely come back.

The place was nice. Service was excellent. Food nothing to write home about. I had eggplant parmigiana. Very mushy. Just a pile of thin sliced eggplant and mozzarella. No crispness. Disappointing. Also had a vegetarian “ antipasto “ - mostly lettuce with a small amount of cheese and a few other veggies. Not much for $16. Expected more.

The food is delicious and we've never had bad service. The waitstaff is friendly, personable and efficient. We go to Gregorio's for anniversary and birthday celebrations and love to show it off to out of town friends.

Ordered Chicken Alfredo and Spaghetti and Meatballs. The Alfredo tasted like milk and noodles and was not eaten. Spaghetti was okay. The 2 Meatballs were the best part.Atmosphere and staff are fantastic and very friendly and I just wish the food was worth coming back for.Warning if you go on the patio and you're cigarette sensitive it may float up to the second level.

Our waitress Alex was great, gave us plenty of time, answered questions, was very attentive. We ordered small portions for all 3 of us-rigatoni with meat sauce, spaghetti w/ meatsauce and chicken picatta w/ mushrooms-all was plenty of food with leftovers too. Before main course, we ordered one dinner house salad-chopped and mixed which was plenty for two of us, along with their warm house bread and garlic bread for my son. Drinks were great-rose sangria and bloody mary-to celebrate our 32nd wedding anniv.! We have visited this restaurant in past years and my son always remembers he can see and hear the trains from the outside dining upper deck. And then Alex our waitress brought a surprise-one of their homemade canolli decorated w/ strawberries & chocolate! Thanks for a wonderful evening-to all at Gregorios! Never had a meal here that I didn't like. Me and my husband each ordered the filet, one medium and one well. They both came out at the same time and cooked perfectly. They have a lot of good pasta dishes and their soup is delicious.The service is always great. Everyone is nice and knowledgeable of the menu options.Tonight we even sat and chatted with the owner as he was sitting at the bar top where we were eating.

We had a party of 6 and sat on the patio it was a very nice atmosphere. The fresh, warm bread and butter they brought out before the meal was delicious. They also have heaters on the patio if it gets too cold. The food was delicious. In the picture is a half order of eggplant. We split it, and they were nice enough to bring it out on two plates. Our waitress was very nice and knowledgeable of the menu. We did have a friend who is gluten-free, and they were able to accommodate her.Dietary restrictions: They have gluten-free options.Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is on the second floor. There is an elevator.

Carlsbad is a cute town but there are not a lot of restaurant choices, particularly any that are open after 9 pm. Gregorios is on the upper level of a little outdoor touristy shopping area. It is not expensive (relatively) and the hostess was kind. However, the food was subpar. The pizza was the quality of elementary school pizza -- no taste, hard crust, not soft and chewy dough, and not particularly fresh cheese. Wine by the glass was low end. Burger was not good.

This place is so delish! We are always satisfied when we visit. The food is outstanding, and while it looks a little pricy, the portions are big and the quality is fantastic! Patio can be a little noisy, but overall this place is worth every penny :)

Gregorio's Restaurant is a poor choice for Italian food. Due to the location in the center of Carlsbad and the many hotels/motels in the area, it is busy due to the visitor/traveler community. Not only is the food mediocre at best, it is over priced. Also, the availability of parking is very poor. Ciao Italian Restaurant in Vista and Blade in Oceanside are much better choices for true Italian cooking.

Service was great and so was the food. The portions are huge! I will definitely be going back to this place again. They have tvs with different sports playing on them, which I love.

I met a friend here for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. We ate outside and they had a gentleman playing a guitar and singing. It was lovely but a wee bit loud. Food was great. Best bruschetta ever!!!! Will return next time I'm in the area!

Came here purely by chance. Food was excellent. Eggplant parmagin was like it's supposed to be, like my grandmother made. Layered like lasagna! And a huge square with pasta. Great sauce poured over all.

Brandy our servers was off the charts great. Great food glad the tourists are gone so we can enjoy the restaurant. Loved the bread pasta meatballs and very cool rotating the house Cabernet.

Great food, wonderful wait staff, and a true neighbor gem. Try their restaurant, if you like Italian food you will not be disappointed. Try the creamy tomato soup or the linguine with olive oil, garlic,red pepper and scallops.. simple but fantastic
