This company was purchased by Assured Partners a national outfit and honestly service has gone down the tubes. In the past we were able to manage payment of our policies directly through the insurer website and now all that has been mangled and impossible to do.The office is not as responsive as it used to be possibly due to employee turn over.Stay away if you can help it and go directly to the insurer.

When it was time to grow up and get off my mom's insurance, my wife to be was with HWP Insurance and that is where I ended up...9 years later, I couldn't have been happier!!! Jennifer Scott is my agent and I have lost track of how many family, friends and clients that I have referred to her. 100% of everyone loved her and most switched are now a part of HWP Insurance family. When I need anything and I really mean ANYTHING with my policy, I pick up the phone and call Jennifer and like magic it is done.One of my favorite stories...I was in line at the hell called DMV and forgot to add my new car to our policy and the lovely DMV Rep was not going to give me my registration; Jennifer was able to add my new car to our policy and email me the insurance card to my smartphone to bail me out and get me on my way with my registration in hand.Call HWP, ask for Jennifer Scott and I promise you will not regret it!!!

My friends and I each called several insurance places around Carlsbad to check rates for our motorcycle insurance. HWP had the best rates and the signup process was really easy.

Shopped around for a new homeowners policy when our new house was finished. The people at HWP were really super helpful at setting up a new policy and the premiums were much longer than we expected which was a nice added bonus.

This company has excellent customer service and the people are super friendly. Highly recommend them if you like interacting with real people versus online and automated systems where you can never reach anyone when you have a problem.
