This phone number doesn't work so If you need to call ahead or make changes GOOD LUCK. The only thing positive is they had vehicles available when I need one in a pinch. However Hertz customer service is completely useless and they would rather you do it online and not bother them over the phone

Absolutely outstanding Hertz rental location. I have option but I will always take my business to Adrian and his amazing staff at Hertz of Toyota Carlsbad.

Jessica was so pleasant and helpful . She allowed us to exchange the car because ours was having a tire leak. Nice location !

For the price of my rental it was a decent car. But what really made it great was the amount of great customer service I received. Didn’t get the name of the lady that helped me out, but I’d definitely go back for my next rental.

Jessica was responsive, efficient, helpful, and friendly when I asked to trade in my rental from another Hertz location. I received a better car that was actually clean (the car from the other location had not been properly cleaned). She also reminded me to fill up my tank before exchanging the car - something I would have forgotten given it was an exchange, not a return. Based on my experience with Jessica, I will use this Hertz location for my future rental needs.

Stoked my belongings and overcharged me on a rental have receipt it was returned reported it stolen not nice to do to disabled senior citizen guess I will ad them to my elder abuse claim along with every hotel I stayed at in north county except for this motel 6 very nice

Horrible service the lady was rude and did not listen to our requests of how many days we need that car. We stood outside for about 10 minutes in the sun waiting for a car and the car they gave us, the seats could not move it was not electric it was manually movable but only the back part of the seat good move there was a big gap and it was hard to reach pedals don't go

Due to dishonesty by a private car seller and mistreatment by a competing rental agency (that I've been a customer with for over 20yrs), I now happily do business Hertz. They have taken very good care of me for the past month and I can only say THANK YOU to Jessica and the local staff there!

Relatively easy check-in, decent car to rent. CDW was higher than I'd like, otherwise good service. I had to call with a couple of questions and they were easy to deal with and have me correct answers quickly.

Yes it hurts to rent from Hertz. The customer service experience was poor. I showed up needing to swap my existing rental due to an issue with the vehicle. I was told to check with other locations as they were tight on rentals. I find this hard to believe when I can see porters bringing up available vehicles, cars parked in stalls and only one person in the waiting room. I come back in after calling other locations which are also allegedly without cars. The really kicker was the guy at one location who had no availability told me to just call roadside as if that would get me another car. The hour quote I was given for another car was not ideal. The representatives were treating me as if I was a bother. Here I am an existing customer in a their company car. I hear a manager in the back and the rep heads back to see what she can do after the first one did not. She's mumbling over my situation and the woman pulls a vehicle out of thin air. What wonderful magic they can perform when they want to actually assist a customer. I was able to swap out of the vehicle with the issue and into a smaller car. I also preferred this anyway over the boat they stuck me with in the first place. I would think twice before using Hertz. If you get a car with an issue your more than likely to have the same experience. I would also think again about using this location. The attitude from the staff was not friendly nor courteous. I was treated like a stranger off the street instead of a current customer.
