We were so happy to have found this adorable candy store/ice cream shop while visiting Carlsbad! We tried their delicious truffles, amazing ice cream, and dole whips. Everything was wonderful and the service was great both times we went. They also have a great selection of candy, including lots of novelty items. We chatted with the owners for a bit, too, and they were so friendly and seem to really care about the area and their store. We highly recommend it!!

Our new favorite ice cream & candy shop in Carlsbad Village! And it's so nice that it's steps from the sandy beach! We've known about this place for years, but the new owners have completely transformed the shop into something out of a movie! I love that they have something for everyone--ice cream (including a dairy free option), all the candy options you can imagine, hot cocoa/coffee, and my favorite, the chocolate truffle bar. Sweet Spot is bright, fun, and inspiring--a must visit for the whole family!!

When you are in Carlsbad and need a sweet treat after dinner, look no further than Sweet Spot. This store is locally owned and you can tell that Amy places her entire heart into the store.Let's talk about the product. The candy provided is not only fresh but very unique and the best part, you weigh it as you go, yep, weigh as you go, so have as little or as much as you want. The drinks: Bazooka Bubble Gum soda is offered as one of our favorites and a must when visiting. You will find yourself going back and forth on which drink to purchase, they all are wonderful!The atmosphere: absolutely warms my heart. The music, the sunshine yellow on the walls will just brighten your day, and the colorful chandeliers will make you feel like you walked into Willy Wonka's Candy Store.If you are traveling through be sure to place this"sweet spot" on your list to visit and pick up some snacks for you and loved ones as a nice souvenir for friends and family.

The Sweet Spot is amazing. My kids absolutely loved this place. They have every fun candy and ice cream you could ever imagine. I felt like a kid in a candy shop. Literally the most fun place to experience in Carlsbad. We will be stopping in every time we visit Carlsbad.

Our family stopped in for dessert to enjoy while watching the sun set at Tammarack beach. I’m assuming that on our visit that we had the owners and their children serving us. They were all friendly and helpful. They had a good variety of frozen treats that were delicious. We were asked where we were from and apparently Idaho is not a common place that other visitors have been from. I highly recommend visiting Linda’s.

Store was closed. Informed by new owner that they will be selling candy instead of yogurt sandwiches. Sandwich bar has already been removed.
