When you walk into this particular location store there is smell of sewerage leaking into whole store. If you complain first they will admit it’s the bathrooms then they say it’s coming from vons next door which is inaccurate. I have been to Vons and there is no smell. They have one old lady at the check out counter. Replacing all employees with self checkout. I know the plane is to replace humans with machines. Self checkout can not keep the bathrooms and store clean. You still need people doing that work.i have been sick after that visit to Carlsbad location.Their stinky sewer smelling store is very bad place for your health. Go to some other location if it’s clean.

I always want to buy everything in the store. If you're bored, just go to Michael's. Want your kids to stop whining about screen time, just go to Michael's. Want to give your mom a gift that isn't quite perfect, but will give her a big smile, go to Michael's

This store feeds my creative soul. I love coming here and going up and down the aisles, whether I'm seeking inspiration or on a mission to find specific items for my creative projects. My modus operandi is to search the website first to get ideas or to see if what I want is available in-store. Even when I order online and then drive over to pick up my purchases, I end up roaming the store to see, What else do they have? Staff is friendly and helpful. Prices are competitive. The shelves are well-stocked with a wide range of products in numerous categories, and I can't recall ever leaving here empty-handed or uninspired!

Brought in an old b/w photo print for custom framing. They charged me $560. The framing took 2 weeks later than promised. They ordered the wrong size matte. When I finally went to pick it up, the photo had "ripples"--like waves. It was not mounted flush to a backing before framing. I asked them why they didn't dry mount it. They said they don't do that, due to the age of the print. I asked them why didn't they tell me that before they took my $560. No answer. They offered to add more "backing". I went back a few days later to pick up the print. There was very little difference. Now the back cover was wrinkled, like it was slapped together. I felt as I didn't have much choice but to bring it home as it was--it was a unique print and probably hard to replace. Live and learn.

I went into this store to have a picture framed & Melissa Edwards, Framing Manager was so helpful! Not only did she help me professionally but I left my phone there. She found it and placed it in a secure spot until I realized what I did. I will definitely return for the wonderful customer service & trusting employees! Thank you Melissa!

Please please somebody call health department. This place is a bomb of swish you enter is sewage you go to the restrooms in the restrooms are green you can see all the formal switch on the air. This is worse than Covid. Why haven’t they closed this store

I always find what I need at Michaels. Been wanting to have a handpainted tea towel framed for a Christmas gift. Luckily, I found an 80% off coupon for custom framing! I worked with manager, Emily who is creative, patient and helpful. Custom piece will be ready in 2 weeks! Thank you for terrific savings and quality workmanship.
