Really great place for date night. Outstanding wines and very good food. Been here several times and it never disappoints. Great charcuterie options and mixed drinks. I have the salmon here a few days ago and it was fantastic.

One of the yummiest espresso martinis that I have had. I loved it so much that we came in again just for that drink. Definitely try it! The vibe is chill as well with many different areas to hang out.

Delicious food - but - they really skimp on the portions and not worth the money you pay. Step it up O&E!We ordered the brie and almost burst out laughing to see 2 little tiny dollaps of brie as the whole app - umm, 1 little dollap on a huge piece of puff pastry? Come on O&E - put some BRIE on that pastry, it's not that expensive. Also, got a lavender gin drink which again was delicious, but they serve it in a small champagne glass, so you're not even getting a normal drink size...again, too expensive these days to pay so much for so little. If we go back, will make sure to order something that is more normal-sized. Sorry!

I had dinner here tonight and didn't have the best experience. It pains me to write a negative review.I searched for dinner in Carlsbad on Yelp, and Oak + Elixir was the top organic search result. That lead us to make reservations here and had high hopes. We showed up for our reservation on time. The hostess immediately started seating us outside, without asking if we preferred indoor or outdoor dining. I politely asked that we be seated inside, but the hostess seemed like we were inconveniencing her with that preference. She made a comment about in order for us to sit inside, she'd have to clean off a table. Like, ok? Then please do it? It was a little odd.Our waitress definitely could've been friendlier. It was visibly short staffed tonight, and there was a lot of commotion. A second waitress came up to greet us. Seemed like everyone was confused. One of our drinks came to the table a half hour late. The food was pretty good! I was expecting a bit better, but overall I was happy with my meal. The ambiance inside was cute, but it was very hot. No AC on and just windows open.I'm sorry to have to write a negative review. I may try coming here again one day and giving it another chance.

Had a lovely dinner with the fam here when we were down in the area. We had our senior pup with us, so we sat on the patio, which looks to be one of the few nice carryovers from Covid. We were early for our reservation, so we were able to hang out inside in a little lounge-ish area and have cocktails and a little app to start. We had the artichoke dip before getting seated (it was excellent) and shared another flatbread once we moved to the table (again, very tasty with nice tri-tip). My wife and I each ordered the short rib, which was a really huge hunk o' meat, and he daughter had the trio of ravioli. All the mains were very tasty, and there was no room for desert,Cocktails were all very good, and inventive without being too weird.

Cocktails were delicious and Charcuterie board was fantastic. The fig buratta Prosciutto Flatbread was stellar as well!

The wine list was curated really nicely from small family wineries. The flatbreads were delicious.

I and my husband liked that place. We had two small dogs so sat outside. The waitress comes to us quickly to take drink order. I had spicy margarita. My husband is a vegetarian so he ordered Margherita flatbread and pear salad. I had some from his plate and these were good.I had salmon and it was yummy and not so over tasted. We were too full so didn't order any dessert but maybe next time.

Really bummed because this used to be my go to spot with my friends once or twice a week but my boyfriend sat on the patio today during the farmers market to wait for me to walk over and meet him there so we could order food and drinks and the servers very rudely kicked him off the patio. He had a container of food from the market that he opened to snack on while he was waiting (oak and elixir wasn’t open for another 5 minutes). They could have asked him to close the lid/put the food away instead of being super rude and fully kicking him off. Ruined our evening plans and probably won’t be back :( they do have great cocktails/food but the service needs some help.

Great service, good wine list, fun cocktails and beautiful place. Definitely worth the visit. We went on a date night but looks super fun for a girls night out as well!

10/10! We found this place on Yelp and decided to go for a late Wednesday night dinner at 9pm. Got the Fig+Burrata+Prosciutto flat bread, Ravioli Sampler with Sage Cream Sauce, and Peach Turnover. Everything was INCREDIBLE. We were expecting slightly-above-average foods and got amazing, well-balanced, perfectly cooked everything! The flat bread was soft, as we prefer. And also worked well for dipping in the sage cream sauce. The raviolis were well portioned, but the true highlight was the sage cream sauce. I've never had one like it, it was so delicious. And the peach turnover gave me churro-cinnamon sugar tastes, and reminded me of a funnel cake. Get the peach turnover! My partner also ordered the El Vaquero drink and they accidentally made him the Desperado. But they remedied it by giving him the mistake drink for free, and making him the El Vaquero anyways. The staff was so helpful in guiding us through the menu and everything they recommended was exceptional!

Right on State street between Carlsbad village and Grand. Plenty of parking all around and easy to walk to anywhere in the village. Easy to make reservations ahead of time as well. We went on a busy night but the entire staff was friendly and extremely attentive nonetheless. Outdoor seating and indoor seating are available. I started out with the date night espresso martini. Our server mentioned it was ranked at one time in the top 5 espresso martinis in San Diego. I completely understand why it would be. The blazed marshmallow adds a warm campfire taste to the martini. Between the Kahlua, Vanila, and almond milk, the cold brew liquor had so much to compliment it that it wasn't bitter in the slightest. Extremely enjoyable! I tried the baked brie and it was a yummy treat before the chicken artichoke pesto flat bread. The apricot went well with the creamy Brie and the pastry was baked to flaky perfection. For the flatbread, I had gluten free dough and I would not be able to tell the difference in flavor alone. I loved the flatbread and especially enjoyed the artichokes. The flatbread was well cooked and not just set with toppings. Would go back to definitely try more!
